Spring is here, and so is some exciting news from The Wee Bonnie Bakery! 🌸✨ I’ve been busy experimenting with new cake recipes, perfecting my shortbread, and tweaking my brownies to keep up with rising egg prices. 🧁

As we head into April, I’m doing a little “Spring Cleaning” on the menu, refreshing prices, and making the website easier to use. Some items may be leaving, but don’t worry—you can still place custom orders via email! Plus, I’m introducing new decorated Scottish Shortbreads soon! 🍪💖

Please note, the online store may be closed temporarily while I work behind the scenes, but I’ll still be here to take special orders! Feel free to email me at colin@weebonniebakery.com for any inquiries. Thanks for your support as a small business owner—your patience means the world! 🙏

I am not a bread baker. By that I mean I don’t normally bake bread and have it be successful. This time I’m just trying out a couple of recipes to see what works and how I get on. If you bake bread I would LOVE feedback on how these look. Full video on how it came about coming soon.

100 cookies currently being made. I made a mistake yesterday when I baked 58 and realized they were the wrong size. So I’m catching up for my order tomorrow. I am making more jam, and more jam, and more cookies, and more jam. Wish me luck!

Today is Burns Night. In Scotland we celebrate the great Bard Robert Burns by reading his poetry, eating haggis, and having a dram or two of whisky. It was my father’s favorite holiday because he enjoyed all of the things above, as well as being a showman and socializing with his friends.
•Today I am reflecting on the past and thinking about family and friends.
• I am sharing my recipe for vegan haggis as well as other ways to use haggis this Burns Night, head over to my stories for the 🔗
• I’ve also created a poem of my own celebrating Shortbread in Caithness Dialect, the dialect of my home county in Scotland

The only Millionaires and Billionaires I need in my life are these bad boys.
-
Imagine having a billion dollars and choosing to be mean… wouldn’t it be more fun to go frolicking and rebuilding spaces for people to live? Anyway, enjoy your weekends and be kind

I make my own tablet, is it as good as my grans? No, but it’s as good as mine! Rich sugary goodness in every bite. If you put some in your mouth and then have a mouthful of hot tea or coffee it all melts together and honestly we need that kind of positivity in our lives right now. So go get yersel some by popping over to the website and I’ll send it to you 😁❤️
Currently still working with the pouches but plan to have tons available soon!!
