🧀🔪This knife was inspired by a suggestion made by a gentleman at an event. Followed by relentless hounding by @spyglass_stained_glass. It was a fun make and I’m very pleased with how it came out. The holes in the blade are designed to help the cheese from sticking and the curved tip can be used to serve. I had to include some mouse details. Hopefully the one little fella can make it over to his buddy so they can share a hunka cheese together. I also realized that I needed to make a serving board to accompany the knife. 🧀🐭🧡. #knifemaking #knifemakingcommunity #knifemakingsupplies #customknifemaking #knifemakingtools #knifemakingwood #knifemakingsunday #diyknifemaking #knifemakingsupply #knifemakingart #knifemakingsteel #keepknifemakingweird #knifemakingtime #simpleknifemaking #knifemakingrocks #knifemakingkilns by @weedramknives

9” dagger with random patterned 1095 and 15N20 Damascus blade. The 4.25” blade features a jimped spine with engraved filligree at the base and is hardened to approximately 60 HRC. The handle is a combination of black webbed white TruStone**, shimmering blue dyed stabilized* curly maple, brass/rose/stainless mosaic pin, and brass guard. The curly maple has amazing variation where some of the wood grain resisted the dye and the natural coloration comes through. Hand stitched sheath that mirrors the contours of the blade. @_king_and_queen_woods really delivers with this curly maple. #knife #knifemakingart #knifemaker by @weedramknives

Cheese knife with stabilized blue curly maple handle and rock maple cheese board. 🧀Featuring a couple lil’ cheese lovin’ characters. 🐭🐁 I shaped the board’s handle to be reminiscent of a cat tail because that just felt right. 🐈 by @weedramknives

9.5” sheath knife with 5” textured/blackened 1095 blade. The handle is mammoth tusk, blue dyed redwood, spalted curly maple burl, & brass. I wanted to feature the natural beauty & amazing patterning of the tusk and felt redwood was a fitting companion. I textured/blackened the blade to give the feeling of stone. Bolster is engraved with a pattern meant to subtly emulate snow. I really enjoyed this build and working with such an ancient material was an honor. by @weedramknives
