Our guy Mitchy @rainbowstarsunshine released his first solo album today and starts a NW tour tomorrow. “It is a diary of sorts that spans about 10 years. The songs have been a place to call home and center myself in as life burns and flies by. Birth death love and grief, it happens to all of us. The process of making this, and now sharing it, has been a way to not loose the precious lessons and gifts life has shown me. My gentle hope is that it can do the same for others- helping us find gratitude healing and love. From the depths of my gooey rainbow soul I invite you to listen if you feel the call. Thanks to @tschidasophia and @blankenstank for the album art. Thanks to Nich Wilbur at @anacortesunknownstudio and thanks to all the soul family who collaborated and supported. “ by @weeedband

There’s a statistically insignificant chance that we’ll be playing any covers next month, but if we do…🤷‍♂️

First gig in over a year is on September 8 in PDX at @getdownpdx as a part of @loseyrmindfest

A few more dates coming down the pipeline. Stay tuned.

Praising y’all 🙏 🔆 by @weeedband

Breaking our record-breaking break between posts to share some breaking headlines:

1. Our dear Mitch got hitched this past week and the celebration was even easier on the eyes than his outfit. Give him and his wife @bythebai some soul💓

2. We’re playing our first show in over a year on September 8th in Portland, as a part of @loseyrmindfest 🤯. Who know the next time we’ll be playing another…

We’re a bit behind on this, as we finished tour about a week ago.

But our appreciation still runs deep to everyone who lent their ears, opened their hearts, and shared their spirits. This was a special run for sure 🤘.

A big 👏👏 to all the folks at @mexicadelia for making our experience south of the border an altogether unforgettable one.

Change is on the breeze, and we’re not quite sure what’s next. We’ll see you all again somewhere downstream 🏞.

❤️ - WEEED
