There’s something so special about creating the kind of childhood memories you hope they’ll look back on one day and smile. 💛

We closed out summer with an outdoor movie night filled with pizza, popcorn, way too much candy, lots of little laughs, and some of our favorite people. 🍕🍿🍭🎬✨ Just kids being kids, staying up a little too late and soaking up one more summer night together.

And a very special shoutout to my friend Joel @joeldamanysteingold for graciously opening up his BEAUTIFUL home to this tiny, sugar-fueled army. 😂🙌🏽 The fact that we left with the house still standing, nothing broken, and all children accounted for feels like a five-star hosting success. 😂

These are the moments I love creating most, the little traditions, gathering people we love, and simple nights that somehow end up feeling like magic.

So proud of my honorary little sister @killahbg . 💛

She is beautiful on the outside, but her heart, spirit, work ethic, and the way she truly lives life out loud? Even more beautiful. Watching her raise such a humble, kind, sweet human being ,now a high school graduate headed to one of the best colleges in the world has me inspired all over again.

Yesterday was such a gift. And every time we get together, it’s always love:
“No, you’re bomb.”
“No, YOU’RE bomb.”
“No, but let me tell you why you’re bomb.” 😂

Kids’ parties, LACMA outdoor concerts with the BEST people, Long Beach Pride, home moments with books on display without the perfect bookcase, and collaborating with my girl @hello_bklyn_deux on a fresh take on charcuterie with the cutest charcuterie skewers.

May has been giving soft launch of summer energy… and I am very ready for what’s next.

April came in like, “Girl, you want beauty or growth?”
And then handed me both.

Birthday joy. Easter sweetness. Atlanta memories. My goddaughter giving full Broadway baby energy. Brandy shining on her book tour in a way that made my heart swell. My mom, my daughter, my family, my friends, all these little reminders that my life is so much richer than I sometimes pause to realize.

And then watching my daughter score three goals in her soccer game, seeing her grow in confidence, joy, and determination, and witnessing her discover what passion feels like in her own little life. That one got me.

And because life is life, this month also reminded me that I’m still learning. Still softening. Still figuring out how to love better, communicate better, and be better, especially to the people who matter most.

Getting older isn’t about becoming flawless. It’s about becoming more honest. More grateful. More accountable. More present.

So here’s my April so far: beautiful, humbling, full-circle, funny, emotional, and deeply blessed.

Sinners only… but make it intentional. 🖤✨

This night was all about duality, dark + light, indulgence + elegance, a little mischief wrapped in beautiful intention. From the red drenched bites to the soft, light touches, every detail was a reflection of the theme. And my folks understood the assignment in their dark and light lounge looks 😮‍🔥

A special shoutout to @hello_bklyn_deux for helping me bring this vision all the way to life. When I say she got it, she got it. Couldn’t have done this without you.
