last year, this race was my first ever 10K. 🙈

since then, I’ve run more 10Ks than I can count, 2 half marathons, put in a whole lot of miles… and somehow became the girl who runs for fun??? 😭👀

came back one year later and ran a 59:06 PR 🥹

and idk… this one just felt GOOD.

not because 59:06 is some magical number, but because I know how many versions of me had to keep showing up to get here. the slow runs, the hard runs, the runs I didn’t want to do, the days I surprised myself.

a year ago, 10K felt like a really hard thing. now I’m chasing down PRs. 💅🏼

your reminder that you really can do hard things when you decide you’re going to keep showing up for yourself. 🥹🤍
