Last winter we managed to ride a new line in the Dolomites. In our eyes, it’s one of the most aesthetic lines that the Dolomites have to offer.
Big shoutout to @kamigazza and @phil_pedrotti, who scouted the face with us a few weeks earlier. On our first attempt we tried to reach the entry together with @kamigazza, but the access turned out to be way more complex than expected, and we had to turn around.

A week later we went back together with our filmer Michael Tscholl @joe_fahlz. Six hours of navigating through a maze of cliffs and exposure finally brought us to the entrance of the line. And from there… we could finally ride this beast.

One of the most demanding parts is the sluff management right before the rappel. We managed to build an anchor with two pitons and dropped into a 57-meter rappel, followed by another 34-meter rappel before we could open up the rest of the line.

As you can only see this line from a very specific angle, we decided to call it “Obscura”. A name that stands for something hidden, something that needs to be discovered and understood before it reveals itself.

We’re incredibly stoked that we pulled it off.

Our first day in Norway was already quite something 🫢After two sunrise shoots back home and almost no sleep, we arrived in Lyngen and started hiking at 1 a.m. to be at the top for sunrise 🌅 We were rewarded with incredible sunlight above the clouds. Now we’ve been here for six days — and there are still 25 more to come 🙏🏻 big thanks to @magicmountainlodge for helping us out with an incredible place to stay 🙌🏻 taken in Norway by @wegerk1
