Internship che non finiscono mai. Contratti che restano precari. Straordinari regalati. Weekend che, improvvisamente, diventano giorni lavorativi. E pochissimi spazi collettivi.

Bisogna fare gavetta. Stringere i denti.

📍 NABA — Via Carlo Darwin 20, Milano
🕡 18:30–20:30

Si continua poi con un drink. Certe conversazioni si affrontano meglio in buona compagnia.

Speaker, programma e dettagli su RealAds in arrivo.

Today, We Hate Pink took to the streets in London alongside other feminist groups to disrupt and protest the anti-abortion March for Life.

Because abortion rights are never something we can take for granted.

Across the world, we are watching organised anti-abortion movements grow stronger, better funded and increasingly connected to far-right politics. What happens in the US, Italy, the UK or elsewhere is not isolated. The attack on reproductive freedom is international and so must be our resistance.

We marched for everyone who has ever needed an abortion.
For everyone who has been denied reproductive healthcare.
For those who have been criminalised, shamed or forced to put their lives at risk.
For everyone who deserves the freedom to decide what happens to their own body.

And we marched because abortion is healthcare.
Because bodily autonomy is a fundamental right.
Because our bodies are not up for debate.

We will not quietly watch our rights being rolled back.

Our bodies. Our choice. Our fight.

✊🏽💗

Today we say goodbye to one of the women who helped change the language, visibility and possibilities of feminism.

For more than six decades, Gloria Steinem wrote, organised, challenged power and helped bring feminist ideas into mainstream culture. She understood something that still matters enormously today: who gets to tell stories, who gets a platform and who gets heard is political.

As a journalist, activist and co-founder of Ms. magazine, she helped create spaces where women could speak about their lives on their own terms — about work, bodies, reproductive freedom, violence, race, money and power.

Her feminism was not without contradictions, and neither is the history of any movement. But remembering feminist history also means recognising the women who opened doors, changed conversations and made it possible for the generations after them to push further.

At We Hate Pink, we believe in many of the same things: that media matters, that representation without power is not enough, and that feminism is something we build collectively.

Gloria once said, “The story of women’s struggle for equality belongs to no single feminist nor to any one organisation but to the collective efforts of all who care about human rights.”

So we keep going.

Thank you, Gloria, for your words, your rebellion and the space you helped create for those who came after you.

Rest in power. 🖤 by @wehatepink

Another Cannes, another feed full of “the work everyone should watch.”

We watched too, but we were less interested in the trophies than in the pattern.

The most celebrated work this year wasn’t really about AI or automation, it was about climate, democracy, beauty standards, migration and community.

Brands are increasingly stepping into spaces once occupied by public institutions and collective care.

That might sound hopeful, but it also raises a bigger question: when brands start doing the work of the commons, are we witnessing progress, or capitalism reinventing itself once again?

That’s the conversation we’re interested in.

What’s happening in Belfast matters to all of us.

The far right has always used the language of “protecting women and children” to justify racism, border violence and attacks on Black and Brown communities. We’ve seen this script before. The people setting cars on fire and targeting migrant families are not interested in women’s safety, they’re interested in power.

And if we’re going to talk about safety, let’s talk about the actual numbers. Around 78% of homicide suspects in the UK are white men. A woman is killed by a man every three days in the UK. Northern Ireland is around 96.6% white and has some of the highest rates of violence against women in Western Europe. The danger was never where they pointed.

As feminists, we refuse to let our lives be weaponised to fuel hate.

We’ll be attending meetings in London alongside other feminist organisations to organise against the rise of the far right. Find your local feminist group, join the conversations, and show up at the demonstrations in your area.

Solidarity isn’t a hashtag. It’s a practice and now is the time to show up.

@gwynethpaltrow is helping to sell luxury beachfront condos in Herzliya. New construction, swimming pools, million-dollar views, during a genocide.

This is tone deafness and neoliberal feminism working exactly as designed.

Gwyneth Paltrow built Goop, a brand on women’s wellness, women’s liberation, a place to thrive — and then attached her brand to the marketing of homes on stolen land, in a region where Palestinian and Lebanese families have lost everything.

Palestinian women deserve wellness too, security,a home, and a future. If your empowerment doesn’t extend to them, it was never empowerment; it was just branding.

We don’t believe in occupation, oppression, or genocide.

Marjane Satrapi showed us that storytelling always carries meaning.

With her art, memories, humor, and courage, she turned her own experiences into powerful political stories. Whether in Persepolis, her films, essays, or other artwork, Satrapi dedicated her life to recording that authoritarianism tries to hide complexity, dissent, joy, grief, and the daily realities of life under oppression.

For many, Persepolis was more than just a graphic novel. It introduced us to Iran beyond the news, reminded us that history happens through everyday people, and showed that personal stories can challenge big ideas more strongly than any slogan.

When Iranian women marched for Woman, Life, Freedom, Satrapi stood with them and used her voice to help share the stories that authorities tried to silence.

Satrapi’s work reminds us that sharing our stories, even the hard ones, is still a political act.

Rest in power, Marjane. Thank you for showing us that art can be a witness, a memory, and a rebellion all at once.

Most people think advertising is just about selling products, but today’s digital systems do much more than that. They analyse behaviour, predict reactions, optimise emotional responses, and shape how people consume information online.

What platforms call “engagement” is often engineered dependency. Infinite scroll, fake urgency, notifications designed to trigger anxiety, and algorithms rewarding outrage over reflection.

These systems are not neutral mistakes; they are infrastructures built around attention extraction, behavioural prediction and permanent optimisation.
And programmatic advertising helped industrialise this logic at scale.

This carousel is not about blaming individuals for using technology; it’s about understanding the political, economic, and psychological systems that shape digital culture behind the interface.

Because social did not become addictive by accident, and none of this is inevitable.
