Hyrox HK｜Second Hyrox. First Pro.

One month to train — plus a surprise hospital detour mid-block. Not ideal prep… but apparently enough.

Special thanks to @kinh_photo for hyping me when I doubted the Open-to-Pro leap… and yelling at me (with love) when I started dragging through the Rox zone.

Hyrox is loud, intense, and a little intimidating — but also strangely intimate. Even in a solo race, I never felt alone. I heard every cheer. I felt all the love. That’s what kept me moving. Deeply grateful having you in my life on my side @purepprotein @stellalalala_h

Next stop: Mix Double in Beijing. Let’s dance.

@HyroxChina Beijing 1st 40+, Overall 2nd.
4 ladies, 4 countries 🇨🇳 🇨🇦 🇯🇵 🇸🇬 🥇

More significantly, 3rd in the world for Women’s Relay 40+ and 1st so far in the 26/27 season!

We cut close to 3 min off our time in Chengdu last month - same four of us who also won the 40+ and finished 2nd overall for Women’s Relay there. How fre*king cool is that?!

Between us, all above 40 (with yours truly being the only one above 45 😂), we hold corporate and fitness jobs, have families, kids, and all the usual life stuff.

While we aren’t that young anymore, but I can proudly say we are definitely all strong women - still training, still giving our best, still pursuing our passions, still chasing our goals, and STILL GETTING BETTER! 💪🏼

Proud of us. Our first sub-60 as a relay team, and definitely more to come from us ❤️‍🔥

Sydney Marathon — a side quest squeezed into a packed HYROX schedule.

Training? None.
Preparation? Barely remembered it was on the calendar.

The game plan, basically:

Book the flight. Book the hotel. Show up. Run.

And now it’s over. For the first time in a while, there’s no marathon on my calendar — and somehow, it feels a little empty.

Side quest complete. Back to the main quest.
More Majors to come. Stay tuned.

Hyrox Shenzhen - Women Pro Doubles

Biggest shoutout to my amazing partner, Spartan Queen @yvonne_xu0731. 👑

She had just raced the Spartan APAC Championships in Chongli on Saturday, flew from Beijing to Shenzhen early Sunday morning, landed at noon, rushed to the venue, changed, and went straight to the start line.

That kind of turnaround? Only the Queen.

Racing alongside an elite athlete was exciting… but also, not gonna lie, pretty nerve-wracking. Probably the most nervous I’ve ever been before a race. I just really didn’t want to hold her back.

She was flying up front, and I spent the whole race trying to keep up.

It hurts. A lot. But having such a strong partner in front of me gave me way more confidence than I expected — just follow, keep moving, and send it.

The whole team-up was pretty last minute too. We only finalized the pairing on Thursday, and had about 10 minutes during warm-up to figure out the station splits. A few handovers were… definitely not perfect.

Something to work on for next time.

But somehow, we pulled off 1:02:23.
Overall 4th place, Age Group 2nd.
We were FAST. Still kind of processing it.

Huge thanks to @electroxlab for always having my back — the Electro X booth is basically home at this point.

And thanks @gosweat1 and @on for the gear support. The new shoes? Absolute tanks. Looking forward to what’s next.

And to everyone who was out there cheering — thank you. Your cheers kept me going all the way to the finish. 💛💛💛

HYROX Shenzhen, what a blast!

Getting to know strong women from all around the world has been one of the most rewarding aspects of HYROX. I mean, literally strong and fast! 💪

Our international team 🇸🇬 🇨🇦 🇯🇵 🇨🇳 not only bagged 🥇 𝟏𝐬𝐭 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐖𝐨𝐦𝐞𝐧 𝐑𝐞𝐥𝐚𝐲 >𝟒𝟎, we came in 𝟐𝐧𝐝 𝐎𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐚𝐥𝐥 - beating all but one team of younger ladies - at @HYROXChina Chengdu, with a timing of 1:01:36. @wei.ca @akiyoshida2025 默

Sooooo happy and thankful that I’m in this chapter of my life where it isn’t about being the smallest version of myself, but about being the strongest version of myself.

AND also about challenging / changing the narrative, coz women in their 40s, working women and moms can still be strong, fast and and right up there competing alongside younger athletes. 😉
