Mini Fitting Prep ⚡️💖 if I’m not filmin…I’m in the studio, if I’m not in studio, I’m shoppin & schleppin clothes around town. When you think about it- Music, Film, & Fashion are close cousins…but it’s only by grace that I have learned to flow in and out of all three industries so freely. For my multi-talented creatives plagued by options- 1) use a skill to bring in big $$$ to finance your creative projects. 2) you must focus and you have to know when it’s time for one project to take the front seat…and 3) most importantly- you MUST FINISH. Finish what you start…if you aren’t finishing you aren’t focusing and it’s quite possible you have TOO much going at once. Prioritize, prioritize, be flexible and don’t sleep on your skills to make CASH. Creative projects ain’t cheap and sometimes skills may bring cash faster than your gifts and talents…don’t get them confused.💖with that said however…your gifts will always make room for you. It is written!

Happy 1 year Anniversary to Weird & Wealthy!!!! We made it. The best miracle happened to me on March 1st of last year, I received my last paycheck from my really rad job and registered my business in the state of California!

I had my first serious client by the 15th of that month and the second by April. In the middle of all that two amazing stylists had me under their wings (and still do) bringing me on jobs on days when I had no clients and I never missed a meal or bill. ❤️💕 My personal closet doors collapsed the night before I went to London and I came home to my own personal wardrobe being a disaster- truly, all hell was breaking lose while Heaven on Earth was simultaneously being revealed. This has been a ride and I’m stoked for what’s to come.

Thank you @michaelardelean for letting me fly! Thank you @amandareno for being such a light in my life! Thank you @prophetlovy and @magyptian_soal for your mentorship and covering me! I love you 💕

Thank you to everyone who has supported me, bought garments from me, allowed me to dress you, spent time with me at flea markets, up-cycled my pieces, referred me, let me yell at you about your closet and get you TUHGETHAAA, those who have brought me on for short films & visuals, and most importantly thank you, King Jesus for it ALL.

Don’t do it, babes!! & for the love of every thing colorful and bright…PLEASE STOP PUTTING EVERYTHING ON YOUR PRODUCTION ASSISTANT…even if you project is on the smaller side…consider budgeting for an entry level wardrobe stylist / costumer!
