Derrick Van Orden is lying to your face. He puts Donald Trump and MAGA politics ahead of Wisconsin, rubber stamping corporate tax cuts while driving up your cost of living. If your electric and gas bills are soaring, look at his record.

Derrick Van Orden’s Record:

🔵 Higher Utility Bills: Voted to repeal grid modernization and energy assistance, leaving families stuck paying for massive corporate energy drains.

🔵 Gutting Rural Healthcare & Safety Nets: Backed budget cuts to Medicaid, rural hospitals, and SNAP while handing billions in tax breaks to developers.

🔵 Stripping Local Control: Voted for the federal measure (Section 43201) blocking local town boards from regulating or pausing massive AI data centers.

🔵 100% Trump Alignment: Consistently votes party line for corporate deregulation over Wisconsin communities.

Rebecca Cooke’s Plan:

🔵 Lowering Everyday Costs: Holding utility companies accountable so families never subsidize corporate expansion.
Protecting Healthcare: Safeguarding Medicaid, Medicare, and rural hospitals while cutting prescription drug costs.

🔵 Preserving Local Control: Ensuring town and county boards keep full zoning authority over what gets built in their backyards.

🔵 Federal Moratorium on Data Centers: Pausing new hyperscale builds until studies guarantee local water tables and electric grids are safe.

🔵 100% Ratepayer Protection: Requiring tech developers to fully fund their own power infrastructure so not a dime hits your electric bill.

Politics are complicated, as are feelings.
Primaries are for voting for what you really want.
But General Elections are for fighting fascism and for what is best for Wisconsin.
