PEPSA PROVIDES WASTE BINS AT JOS METRO BUS STOPS

The Plateau Environmental Protection and Sanitation Agency (PEPSA) has provided waste bins at Tin City Metro Bus Stops across Jos to promote proper waste disposal and keep the city cleaner.

Residents and commuters are encouraged to use the bins whenever they have waste, instead of dropping it on the road.

Don’t walk past the bin. Use it!

The Plateau State Environmental Protection and Sanitation Agency (PEPSA) has taken a major step toward improving environmental governance and sanitation services in the state with the commencement of two key institutional initiatives.

The process was officially flagged off during an inception meeting at the Agency’s headquarters, bringing together stakeholders to begin the development of the Plateau State Social and Behaviour Change Communication (SBCC) Guidelines and the Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for PEPSA Operations.

When completed, these frameworks will provide clear guidance for the Agency’s operations, strengthen service delivery, and encourage positive behavioural change that supports a cleaner, healthier, and more sustainable Plateau State. by @wejosrock
