“The ultimate peace lies in being a human”!! Difficult times create strong people. We all feel helpless in certain situations, be it myself, you, or someone else. Considering we are humans, it is our responsibility to look after our society and contribute in a best possible way!! My definition of being a human relates more to kindness, integrity, loyalty, compassion, generosity, and serving your fellow beings and society for a better tomorrow! We make a living by what we get, but we make a life by what we give. Spread love, power, peace, and kindness which will justify and serve the purpose of our existence!! Played a set for my brother’s bachelor, and honestly, I’ve never enjoyed learning this art as much as I did last night. Never felt this confident behind the decks. I’ve always believed in the power of good company. Being surrounded by your homies and the people you love gives you a kind of confidence that makes you believe you can do wonders. I truly value the people around me, sometimes, the right people help you see what you can’t see in yourself. This is just the beginning. There’s so much more to learn, experiment with, and improvise. Nims, you’re still alive to us, and you always will be. To me, a legend isn’t someone who only achieves the extraordinary, they inspire others to discover the extraordinary within themselves. That’s who you were. This run is my tribute to you. It wasn’t anything extraordinary, but it is a symbol of the resilience and belief you instilled in millions of us. I wanted to improve something today, whether it was distance or pace, and I chose pace. I promise you this, Nims Dai, one day I’ll run a sub-4:00 min/km. It may not be a mountain, but it’ll be my way of proving to myself that limits are only temporary. Even though I’m not a mountaineer, you changed the way I look at life. Ever since I came to know your story, you’ve inspired me to push harder, dream bigger, and chase what lies beyond my limits. You didn’t just climb mountains, you gave millions the courage to climb their own. I always hoped that one day I’d meet you and accomplish something together. Life had other plans. But I promise you this: I’ll carry your message forward in whatever way I can. It may never be a fraction of what you achieved, but your purpose will continue to live through the people you’ve inspired. Today, the grief across the world isn’t just because we lost one of the greatest mountaineers. It’s because we lost one of the finest human beings. The love pouring in from every corner of the world is a reflection of the lives you touched. You’re resting where you always belonged, in the mountains you loved most. But someone like you can never truly die. Legends don’t die. They live on in every person they inspire. Rest easy, Nims Dai. Your summits became our horizons. 31, wohooo!!😂 Planned to run 31 km on my 31st birthday. But after running for around 15 minutes with a cold, fever, and drizzle, I thought I would do 21. Eventually, I ended up running around 8.3 km😂 Did I lose? No. I just ended. I’ll be back soon. The rest of the day was exactly how I wanted it to be. Didn’t take the day off, did my duties, went to the temple, met my kids, spent some time with Shiva, and ended the day with a jug of beer. A little spirituality, responsibility, family, friendship, and celebration - my kind of balance. Received so many wishes from people I love, and I am truly grateful. Thank you to my sister, jiju, my friends, my family, my mom and dad, and everyone who made my day special. As I turn 31, I feel grateful for where I am, clearer about where I want to go, and more determined to keep doing my part with purpose and humility.
