Wellness4Workers featured by Pro Bono Australia 💙

The article shares a bit of my story, why I started W4W and what we’re trying to build, making it easier for workers to access support before things reach crisis point.

We’re building practical pathways into psychology, fitness, boxing, breathwork, wellbeing services and community connection for people who need a hand.

Massive thanks to Pro Bono Australia for giving us the opportunity to tell our story, and to all our community partners who are helping us at the start of this journey. 💙

Proud to have @k2max_northcote come on board as a @wellness4workers_ provider 🙌

K2 MAX is based in Northcote and their focus is simple, helping people get stronger, build confidence and work towards their own version of better.

They offer coached altitude training, VO₂ max testing and body composition scans to help people understand where they’re at and track their progress.

What we really like about K2 MAX is their “Live Your Peak” philosophy. Everyone’s goals are different, and whether someone is training for something big or just trying to get back into exercise, their team is there to support them and help them take that next step.

If you’re struggling and feel like this type of support could help, you may be able to access subsidised support through Wellness4Workers to train at K2 MAX.

Just head to the Wellness4Workers website through the link in our bio, click “Access Wellness Support” and follow the prompts.

Really looking forward to working with the K2 MAX team and helping more people access the support they need 💙

Welcome to W4W 🙏

💙 IT ALL STARTS WITH A CONVERSATION.

At Wellness4Workers, we believe nobody should have to face life’s toughest moments alone.

That’s why we love the work being done by @gotcha4life

Gotcha4Life is helping Australians build mental fitness, strengthen relationships and feel more comfortable reaching out when life gets tough.

Their message is something we believe in strongly at W4W — looking after your mental health is just as important as looking after your physical health.

Whether it’s checking in on a mate, having an honest conversation or asking for help yourself, sometimes the smallest step can make the biggest difference.

Check out the incredible work they’re doing:

FAITHFULNESS BRINGS BLESSINGS! ✝️🔥

Just as Joseph remained faithful and obedient to God, his faithfulness became a blessing to those around him!

CHRIST IN CONSTRUCTION IS RETURNING! 🙌

We’re preparing to go BIG for our final program of the year! 16 November RDO — more details to come!

The mission remains the same: Reach the broken and bring freedom in Jesus’ name! ✝️

Until then, remain faithful to the Lord. Your obedience can impact more lives than just your own!

🥊 WELCOME OUR NEW WELLNESS4WORKERS AMBASSADOR! 🥊

We’re proud to welcome Phil “ @boxingyakk ” to the @wellness4workers_ family!

Phil’s journey is one of determination, resilience and never giving up.

After being diagnosed with Behçet’s disease in 2007, Phil faced some incredibly difficult years. His condition affected his brain and left him with lasting problems in his right leg.

He’s also been open about his past struggles, including homelessness and mistakes he made when he was younger.

But Phil has worked hard to turn his life around, especially for his children and family. ❤️

And recently, all that hard work paid off when he became an AABC Australian Boxing Champion! 🏆🥊

Phil trains out of @completehealthgeelong , with trainer @lukey_harrison @troykoerntjes , alongside support from Gary at Grovedale Football Gym and @fightmsforlife_ from @boxingfit247portmelb.

At Wellness4Workers, these are the people we admire.

Not because of the medals they’ve won, but because of what they’ve overcome to get there.

People who have been through some of life’s toughest challenges and are still finding ways to move forward, support others and make their families proud.

Phil’s story is a reminder that no matter where you’ve been or what you’ve faced, your future can look very different from your past.

We’re proud to have you representing W4W, brother. Keep inspiring others and showing what’s possible!

Wellness4Workers — Everyone deserves someone in their corner. by @wellness4workers_

Taking care of your mental health isn’t a luxury — it’s survival.

When you’ve spent years trapped in cycles of trauma, jail, or the streets, finding a healthy outlet is one of the most powerful steps you can take to rebuild your life.

Movement, community, and having people in your corner who get it make all the difference. Whether it’s hitting a bag, getting into a gym, or sitting down for a real yarn with a counsellor, taking action for your wellbeing is where real change starts.

Big respect to everyone in the community putting on events, opening up doors, and showing that blokes and survivors don’t have to carry the weight alone.

If you’re working on breaking the cycle, remember: showing up for yourself is the first step.

Having a team beside you who are willing to give their time, help out and expect nothing in return except seeing other people get something out of it is very hard to find.

Starting Wellness4Workers has been one of the biggest challenges I’ve taken on. Not just because of the work that goes into helping other people, but because of how much of myself I’ve had to put into it.

A lot of W4W was built from the things that helped me get my own life back together when everything fell apart. Getting sober, training, routine, connection, having good people around me and having somewhere positive to put my energy. A lot of it comes from lived experience.

Putting that part of myself out there hasn’t been easy, but watching some of the same things that helped me get sober and rebuild my life start helping other people makes everything I’ve been through feel like it had a purpose.

And having a team around me who understands that and just wants to help people without expecting anything back means more than they probably realise.

That’s what W4W is about ❤️🥊

Proud to present this certificate of appreciation to @wellness4workers_ in recognition of their generous donation of the AABC championship belt and their ongoing support to adaptive boxing in general.

Couldn’t be prouder of you @kaylasavi ❤️

Being in your corner on Saturday night was pretty special. Watching you step in there, stay composed and fight the way you do makes me proud every single time.

But it’s not just the way you fight that I admire, it’s the way you carry yourself inside and outside the ring. You’re tough, humble, disciplined and always give everything you’ve got.

I know how much work goes on behind the scenes that people don’t see, and I’m proud to be your husband and be right there in your corner through it all.

Love you Kayla ❤️🥊

Saturday night was so special ❤️
After such a massive break from boxing, jumping back into the ring reminded me just how much I love being in there. It’s honestly a feeling that’s so hard to describe.
Having Grant and Murphy there with me made it even more special and something I’ll never forget.
Grant, you’ve completely blown me away with how much time, heart and effort you’ve put into Wellness4Workers, and seeing all the work you put into making this event happen was amazing. What you’re doing to help other people is so inspiring and I’m incredibly proud of you.
When I look at everything we’ve done together as a family, it still amazes me. You’ve always encouraged me to go after what I want and given me the confidence to do things I never thought I could do.
I love you so much ❤️ And I definitely remembered just how much I bloody love jumping in that ring 🥊❤️ by @wellness4workers_
