Taking Sides by Rebecca Jenshak came out TODAY and I put Conrad up against my favorite book boyfriend. I have THE AUDACITY. 😈

He said what?! Silas Stanton is the book boyfriend who has been living in my head RENT FREE because that man says some ROMANTIC things.

Code Violation is an off-limits hockey romance between the hockey captain and his little brother’s ex, and it is STEAMY. 🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️

Between the twists, drama, and romance, I was on the edge of my seat waiting to see what Silas and Vesper would do. It didn’t disappoint!

Kringletown Christmas by @meghanquinnbooks has arrived on my shelf! Best book mail!

I know it’s October 1, but these are my favorite holiday books and these special editions are absolutely beautiful! I mean, the art?! The edges?! 😍 I had to order them as soon as I saw them. I’m so glad I didn’t have physical copies yet!

I’ll be rereading these super spicy delights in December, and definitely hiding them from my husband because he still asks me if there are any candy canes in my book and it’s been almost a year. 🙄 IYKYK. 👀

Looking forward to her new book, Christmas Staycation later this month!

Sometimes a book comes along and makes you feel so many emotions that you have no choice but to talk about it immediately, even when you don’t feel good.

Passion Project by London Sperry was perfect. I read City People last month and loved it so much, I wasn’t sure how this would compare.

IT’S EQUAL. Passion Project is a beautiful story about making friends, processing grief, and choosing to let yourself love, even if your heart feels so broken that you aren’t sure it works anymore.

This is only the third book that made me shed actual tears this year (and I’ve read 188 so far- don’t ask me how. This isn’t typical for me.)

I am begging you to read this book if you are even remotely interested in romance. Then when City People comes out in April, read that one for an equally great story with totally different vibes.
