It takes a village to raise a sauna… and often times a crane to place it. Mad respect to the incredible crane crews who lift these little luxuries into their forever homes with skill and calm precision. And to all our suppliers and not so serious sub trades- you make this ride as fun as it is flawless. Every time, you nail it… sometimes literally! #bestcrew #onwardsandupwards #comox #vancouverislandsauna #vanisle #comoxvalley #phoenixtruckcrane #coastalcansandcranes #parallelcranes by @wellsauna

From the outside, it’s a sauna. On the inside, it’s 101 tiny decisions, careful cuts, and quiet stresses that make it feel perfect after a successful delivery. Every detail matters — even the ones you’ll never notice. #fatmax #cutoncemeasuretwice #saunadesign #finnish #sauna #comox #fullsail #happycustomers #satisfying #ocdmemes #islandlove #wellsauna by @wellsauna

Introducing the go-anywhere, anytime of year personal project that’s been getting a lot of use this year. It is heated with a @gassaunastoves TS 60 heater which is fuelled by propane giving an incredible heat without a trace of smoke or smell, which is pretty darn important in this climate. Would you want to experience this sauna for yourself? We are considering drop-in sessions at the local beaches to spread the love of sauna and meet a whole lot of you sauna lovers!#communitybuilding #finnishmoments #comox #dedicated #sauna by @wellsauna

It’s time you meet Ville Perttula - the legend who’s shaped so much of my journey as a sauna builder. A true inspiration, Ville has been my mentor since I was a young teen, and his impact on my life is immeasurable. This relentless, ingenious Finnish immigrant has dedicated his life to logging, building homes, and raising a family in Sudbury, ON. But what really stands out? His pride in having built over 440 saunas—an achievement he believes is key to his happiness.

Known to all as “Sauna Vili,” he’s now passed the torch to me, and I’m more determined than ever to share the authentic Finnish sauna experience with my fellow islanders and those on the mainland. Ville’s passion for building and spreading the love of sauna has always inspired me, and I’m honored to carry that legacy forward.

It’s a little intimidating to share such a personal tribute to someone I hold in such high regard, but with my business growing and with nobody getting any younger, it feels right to share my roots with you. I am proud to be a Finnish Canadian sauna builder, and my close connection to Ville is a massive influence on every Well Sauna. #finnish #legacy #saunabuilder by @wellsauna
