Check your surrender by checking your habits:
• Are you still revisiting a decision God already made clear?

• Are you calling it “discernment” when you are really looking for a different answer?

• Are you praying for direction while ignoring the next step in front of you?

• Are you trying to control how people respond after you have done what God asked?

• Are you measuring obedience by whether the outcome feels good?

What do you and your friends usually think makes someone great? Money? Followers on social media? The perfect family?

Jesus said whoever wants to be great must become a servant.

Jesus flipped our ideas of greatness upside-down.

Hear this: you don't always want what you want. Some of the greatest testaments to God's love for us are the UNANSWERED prayers.

We can't see what He sees; we don't know what He knows.

If God were to pull back the curtain on some of our unanswered prayers and show us the "why", we'd be so grateful it worked out His way, and not ours.

Trust Him in the answered and unanswered prayers, and always seek Him above any blessing. 🙏🏽

Be very honest with yourself... would you still serve (or serve with the same attitude) if there were no thank-you, no recognition, and no one keeping score?

We know loving and leading this church has required more of you than we could ever fully understand. You've given your time, your prayers, and so much of yourselves, often at personal expense. Tyler had the worship playlist on, Bible app open, and still felt like a fraud. He had been avoiding God all week because he thought he needed to come back with a better attitude, a cleaner record, and some proof that he was finally getting it together.

Then it hit him: Jesus never asked for a perfect version of him. It's Jesus who gives the power to become better from the inside out.

So he prayed the most honest prayer he had prayed in months: “I’ve got nothing, but I’m here."

This is a made-up story, but the truth hits home. Don't forget, God can handle the messy parts of you that you still need His grace and help for. 💙 by @wellspringclt

What are you holding onto that God has already exposed through His Word? When the Holy Spirit brings sin into the light, the right response is repentance and confession.

Do not harden your heart when God is calling you to turn. Whatever He is confronting, answer Him with obedience while your heart is still tender to His voice. 💙 by @wellspringclt

A child knows how to receive a gift without reaching for the receipt.

Jesus points us toward a childlike posture in the Kingdom: open hands, wholehearted trust, and confidence in the goodness of the Father. Come to Him with the kind of trust that still knows how to say, “My Father said it, so I believe Him.” 🙏🏾 by @wellspringclt

We come to Jesus empty-handed, trusting His grace like a child trusts the one caring for them, and we keep placing our confidence in Him for salvation, provision, and every outcome we cannot control.

Surrender is the daily posture of admitting that God is trustworthy enough to hold what we cannot. What are you still trying to carry that belongs in His hands? by @wellspringclt
