a re-introduction for my new friends coast to coast and everything in between & beyond! 🙂👋🏼🖤

the yearning for humans to be involved in the process is becoming increasingly apparent. calligraphers have seen “AI mockups” before AI was popular! we were sent photoshop layers with typeface over the product, perhaps a screenshot with a red arrow indicating where the client wanted personalization on the item, links from etsy to “can you please mimic this style”.

humans are made to connect, to experience art, to be moved by imperfections that we know are normal, given how beautifully and incredibly capable we are. what a wonderful to be human. what a wonder to work creating beautiful things while hearing the stories of humankind. I will never take for granted this line of work and hope our art continues to be appreciated.

born in nyc, based in los angeles, i still serve both coasts, everyone in between and beyond. hoping for the chance to work with you in the very near future! -your fellow human artist taken in Los Angeles, California by @wellspringwrites

teensy engravings have become a personal favorite of mine as of late! i had the opportunity of engraving a roller from @ysl on mother’s day a couple years ago and these small products pack a punch once personalized! this @malinandgoetz roller was so fun to engrave ✨

as an artist, it’s neat to be a part of this project through live events like this 🙏🏼

still trying to find a rhythm serving nyc and los angeles with my calligraphy work, but maybe it’s not really about that. it’s a beautiful thing to know my art is appreciated and wanted. every live event allows me to hear stories and meet people where they are for a special moment in time. 🙏🏼 so thank you, for every person continuing to love and support artists! taken in New York City by @wellspringwrites

POV: filling frosted glass engraving ✨

for @elorea clients- all their bottles are frosted, so filling each by hand with gold or silver is a labor of love, truly highlighting the value of a human in the loop for live activations!

dropped off from posting due to life and health things, but here are a few images from the past couple months 🖤✨

thank you to @choicalligraphy who has been a delightful calligrafriend in LA, passing on my info to @elorea
and introducing me to @shescloudy_calligraphy to whom i’m grateful for trusting me to finish onsite placecards 🙏🏼
i even got to go back home to NYC for a sweet mother’s day event for @malinandgoetz
