Some conversations need reshaping. This is one of them.

For too long, pet grooming has prioritized scent and shine over the actual skin health of the animal. We’re so honored @beautymatterofficial interviewed us for such an important piece on where pet care is headed. Thank you, Alice Manners.

Being a voice for the voiceless matters, and we’re grateful to be part of this conversation. 🫧 by @welltaylpets

We’ve developed a bit of a thing for boxes. 📦

For almost a year, every single Welltayl order has been hand-packed by our team. Somewhere along the way, we started documenting them: stacked up, heading out, showing up at your doors and occasionally being inspected by a very curious dog.

Every box means someone chose Welltayl for their pet, and that still feels pretty special.

One year of Welltayl on 10.22. A lot of boxes later, we’re only getting started. 💚 taken in Brooklyn, New York by @welltaylpets

First, a disclaimer: going into business with your significant other is NOT for everyone. 😂

1. The way you work isn’t the way they work and that’s okay. Different working styles don’t mean one person cares more than the other. Learning to respect how the other person operates is huge.

2. You’ll get your reps in for disagreements VERY quickly. 😂 When you’re making decisions together all day, you learn how to disagree, get over it, and move on pretty fast.

3. It’s hard not to make everything a business meeting. There is always something to talk about, so learning when to turn work off is a work in progress.

4. Having someone in your corner is a superpower. Business can be really hard, and having someone who understands exactly what you’re going through makes the hard moments a lot less lonely.

5. Lower your expectations and give each other more grace. You’re both going to have bad days, make mistakes, and handle things differently. Remembering you’re on the same team goes a long way. taken in Brooklyn, New York by @welltaylpets
