I’m honored to share that I’ve been invited to join the @RecordingAcademy’s 2026 New Member Class.Thank you @grammys for validating my years of contributions to the music community.

Each year, the Academy welcomes a new class of talented, visionary, and impactful creators and professionals to help advance its mission to serve, support, and uplift the music community.

As a member, I’m proud to join a membership body that helps drive meaningful change across the industry, from contributing to the Grammy Awards process and advocating for creators’ rights to participating in conversations and decisions that impact the music community year-round.

Music is shaped by many voices, genres, disciplines, backgrounds, and perspectives, and I’m grateful for the opportunity to contribute mine as part of this global community.

But this means so much more to me (my bro @lordhaiti knew & seen me push thru a lot in private wishing I could call him) in so many ways & layers - if you know my journey some get to these moments in 2,3,5 or 10 ….

Thank you @djrtc for hosting & highlighting such a great moment in #Chicago music the #BlogEra had so many nuances that served as a roadmap for artist ‼️ it will never be one of its kind … however it changed how we discovered new music 🎵in such a curated way

My fellow panelists @mannymuscles @femdotdotcom took me back to what I would say was “the glory days” when everyone was open yet you had to “know” if you knew 😂😂.

Lots of ground work of Chicagos industry was made at that time & im so happy @swankpr was a pivotal part in creating this #ecosystem where so many talented creatives were birthed not just artist but designers, street wear brands, professors, curators, event organizers, A&Rs and even festivals 💙💙💙🫶🏾👏🏽
