Sasha came to me, in May, wanting some urban shots for his music so we went out one evening and shot a few rolls of b&w including some VERY expired #Kodak Tmax. Like, from the 90’s expired. Thanks for looking! 🖤 by @wendy_wan__

I love that my screen time goes down about 80% while I'm on hiatus from my show (+ writers strike!) and I get to live in the real world, but all these scans gotta get processed some time!

He was cremated on his birthday and I put him in his final resting place the weekend of mine. A spring/summer of some supremely bad times.
With ongoing grief counselling, I can finally speak this truth. Not without a torrent of tears, guilt and sadness (because those are forever) but in hopes of moving forward one tiny step and honouring him.

Here is a collection of photos of my Dad carrying cameras. Photography was something he always had a love of and is probably where I discovered mine. We both obsessively documented everything. He also bought me my first real SLR when I was 16. I'm really lucky to have some beautiful photos of my early childhood because of his obsessiveness.
I wish you were sound of mind and I had you as a guide all those years I really started diving into fine art photography, Dad. I'm gonna get that Pentax 67 with the wooden grip, that you had to sell in hard times, back for us!

I still bring a camera with me everywhere but since losing him, it’s left life a little colourless and moments of joy are tinted with guilt. Grief is a really long, lonely journey so thank you to the few who have been there as guides throughout it.
There are a hundred things I still can't say out loud without crumbling but I know this is just a page, not the book.
