I've been in the land of mockups. It's so fun to design interiors this way. If only real life interior design were this easy! From my Hoofbeats collection-yellow colorway. Mockups can be daunting, but I find that it's best to dedicate a day or two and just batch process them all. Switching too quickly from Illustrator to PS to ID can make my head swim! Batch processing saves time and energy with mockups and pretty much any task. by @wendyinthewildstudio

When your client is also a designer, every detail gets personal.
This homeowner (@wendyinthewildstudio) created a custom ocean-inspired print that now lives as both a shower curtain in the guest bath and full wallpaper in the laundry room. It’s bold, playful, and completely their own. Just the way a custom home should be! by @wendyinthewildstudio

Happy Mother's Day to all you mommas out there! My sweet human baby lives across the ocean, but my fur-baby stepped in to give me sloppy kisses. Kiss someone you love today! ❤️ by @wendyinthewildstudio

Saving the world...one ladybug at a time?!? On my morning Beachwalk I found all these ladybugs struggling or already drowned on the waters edge, and the tide was coming in. So I began picking them up one by one. I carried as many of them as I could to higher ground as they fanned out their wings to dry them off. It was crazy! I was covered in ladybugs. I guess they love the beach too! Happy Spring Days everyone. by @wendyinthewildstudio

It is snowing at the beach today! And I'm busy painting spring flowers, and birds for upcoming collections! The life of an artist can be strange but wonderful. It's so important to me to create hands-on art. There's just nothing like the feel of graphite or ink on paper, or watercolors to paper. I hope you are having an inspirational, creative day. #watercolor #botanicalart #interiordesign #patterndesign by @wendyinthewildstudio

Let it Snow! I love a snowy holiday, it creates so many opportunities for fun! Especially after your belly is full of good food on Christmas Day. What's your favorite winter play? Snowshoeing through the deep woods, playing with your dog in the deep powder, swooshing down the ski slope, ice skating,...So many to choose! Wishing you a very Merry Christmas and holiday season! Remember to take time to play. Snowy Christmas Eve and Snowy Christmas Morning, available in my Spoonflower Shop. #christmasdecor #interiordesign #fabric #textiledesign #spoonflower #christmaseve #homedecor #licensingartist #wendyinthewildstudio by @wendyinthewildstudio

"Be Merry" in green. I love how we bring greenery inside during the holidays! So do my animals, especially with all the twinkly lights and ornaments to bat around. Bringing nature inside always adds a peaceful, nurturing feel. Try doing it year round. How do you create a calm and nurturing feel to your home? I surround myself with as many natural elements as possible-woven natural materials, plants, natures colors. Give it a try! #botanicalart #fabricdesign #surfacepatterndesign #holidaydecor #artlicensing #interiordesign #homedecor by @wendyinthewildstudio

Ptarmagins, or ghost birds, are usually found while skiing or snowshoeing in the back country. It's a special treat to find them! I gave them a little holiday from their snowy surroundings in this print for the Winter holiday season. It can go seasonal, everyday, or even a bit tropical. Oh my goodness, I was out hunting inspiration with my favorite beach partner and I found teeny, tiny sand dollars. washed up everywhere. It was mayhem in the sand dollar nursery! What could have happened? Stormy seas perhaps. Look how small they are! Hope you are having a sunny beach day (better than these little sand dollars too!). #beach #beachlife #designinspiration by @wendyinthewildstudio
