Happy Olympic Day. I choked in the 7th round of the ‘88 Olympics so was destined to be 13th and to not make the Finals. Had this not happened I wouldn’t have truly learned how to train properly. Because my Olympic Games fell short of what I thought was to be my potential I trained another year to compete at World’s in ‘89. I put my nose to the grind for the first time ever and chose to try to actually win one. I was always told I could be the best but never really applied myself day to day. The experience of failing gave me new life and I ended my career by splitting the Chinese at Worlds. I had the best performance of my life. Better late than never??? 😳 by @wendylerew
