Sharing some more close ups of this dog portrait 🐶❤ I usually forget to draw the whiskers so I'm glad I remembered them this time 😄 I love painting larger sized pet portraits, the extra space allows me to fit in more details in the eyes, nose and fur ☺

I currently offer pet portrait commissions in watercolour, soft pastels and acrylics.

Do you prefer a smaller or larger pet portrait?

I tried painting architecture in watercolour - it was definitely a challenge and I need more practise, but I'm really happy with the outcome of this first attempt 😃

I painted this from one of @rabi__rabi 's German classes. While I didn't understand a word of German, I tried my best to follow along! 😄

⚠️ IF YOU'RE AN ARTIST, PLEASE READ!! ⚠️ I've been holding my tongue for a long time but I feel like every artist on IG needs to hear this..

If you've ever had your content reposted by giant "art sharing" themed accounts on IG (you know which ones) - you may not know that these accounts actually MONETISE YOUR CONTENT WITHOUT YOUR PERMISSION. ⛔️

I have personally blocked all art sharing themed accounts. On the surface they disguise themselves as having good intentions by sharing your art and "promoting" artists, but what they're actually doing is selectively choosing to steal viral reels to repost without seeking permission from the artist - this grows THEIR followers while they charge a fee to other artists (usually artists with smaller followings) to "promote" their art to their audience - ie. the audience they grew by reposting/stealing YOUR content.

Some of these art sharing accounts will add credits to the original artist at the very bottom of the caption (where nobody reads) so they can say they've "technically" given you credit. Other times they deliberate omit the credit and promote their own IG handle in the caption instead. HOWEVER, credit does NOT equal permission. They are required to obtain your written permission before reposting your content, and none of them ever do this. You can report them to IG using the online copyright form, IG will take down the content from their page and issue them a strike.

Please consider sharing this message with other artists who may not know this. by @wendypaints

🧧 Have a Happy Lunar New Year! 🧧🧨🎋 This is the character you'll see frequently on red envelopes and hanging on doors of those who celebrate lunar new year - it is symbolic of blessing, good fortune and happiness ❤️💛

My latest original painting 🌸 What do you think? 😊 During magnolia season last year, I snapped over 450+ photos of magnolia blooms over the course of 3 days.. 📸 and I'm slowly getting around to using them for my paintings 😄.

Acrylic on deep edge stretched canvas (Available) 🟢

Hello! 👋 I'm back after a short break from Instagram 🤗 It has been 3 weeks since I posted a reel so I wonder if IG still remembers me 🤔 or will it even show this to anyone 😬... but to those who do see this, I hope you're all having a wonderful start to the new year! ❤️

I hope you all have a warm and happy festive season! 🎄🤗✨️ Growing up in Australia and having Christmas during summer time, one thing on my bucket list is to experience a white Christmas one day! If it's snowing where you are during these festive times, I do envy you! 😍❄️ But hope you stay warm!

This will be my final Christmas content for the year (yes it's my last year's work again as I failed to find time to paint anything festive this year 😅).

Yesterday was my last day in the office for this year, and it felt so good to shut down the laptop knowing that I won't have to check work emails for two full weeks! 😁 It also means that I finally get some time to paint hopefully ❤️ Christmas time is the longest break I get for the year so I'm looking forward to cherishing every day of these next 2 weeks!

P.S. Yep this was my last year's painting! 😄

My painting from last year🎄Do you have any Christmas plans this year? 🎄

I don't have much planned for the holiday season this year, but I'm very much looking forward to having some time off work finally!

P.S. I painted this Christmas tree last year and I'm recycling my old Christmas content now as I haven't had any time to paint 🙈
