Daniel and I haven’t been to church for a few months - we’ve been looking but just never felt at home if that makes sense. I’ve been praying about it a lot and two weeks ago I caught the last sermon from Pastor James from New Life Center online and even though it was half way over by the time I started watching, it still moved me.

So today we went to New Life NW campus and it’s indescribable what I felt. We walked in during worship and the music was amazing. We took our seats and after the song ended, one of the ladies singing spoke and her words and the prayer had me bawling - I felt like she was speaking directly to me. Then they played Holy Forever which happens to be one
of my favorite songs. So needless to say I’m sitting there with my tear filled snotty nose face just thanking God for bringing me to this place He knew I needed to be.

On top of all of that, the sermon ends and it had been so heavy on my heart to pray for a friend in the hospital right now - I NEVER EVER EVER EVER go the alter asking for prayer - NEVER!!! But, Michael Goodwin needs it right now so God gave me that strength and I get to the alter - crying again - and I’m able to ask for prayer for him. The ladies praying with me were so patient and kind and wonderful 🙏🏼 I appreciated them and their words so much.

Daniel and I walk outside and man oh man we ran into soooo many people we knew!!! Soooo many people ♥️♥️♥️ We say hi and give hugs and then go to lunch with Brock, Kyler, Cindee and Brent Bryan and had such a wonderful time. Get home and start looking at social media and I see on my first day, I made the insta page of New Life NW!!! God made sure I knew I was where I was meant to be!!! 💙🙏🏼♥️ by @wendyserda

I had the most amazing day and feel so blessed. We laid my sweet Uncle Richard to rest today. He was my mom’s oldest brother ♥️ During the services, Kyler could’ve sat anywhere he wanted - with me, with his Momo, his cousins, anywhere - he chose to sit next to his Uncle James the entire time. I love that he loves my Uncle James as much as I do. Uncles James is simply the best ♥️♥️♥️ by @wendyserda
