Our marriage got stronger when we stopped expecting each other to be good at the same things. 🙅🏼‍♀️🙅‍♂️ literally neverrrr gonna happen. Instead, we learned to lean into our strengths and OWN what each of us does best. It has truly made us more powerful as individuals and even stronger together. I’m productive at home. He provides. I plan. He makes it fun. I think ahead. He brings calm. Because it’s not about keeping score of who’s doing more… it’s about both of us feeling valued for what we bring to the marriage. And most importantly, when one of us has a bad day and can’t show up in our strengths, we ask the other to carry a little more. That’s where grace comes in. Your marriage will get stronger when you know what you do best, give it generously, and make sure your spouse feels valued for what they do best too. 🫶🏼 #marriage #marriagetip #husbandandwife #traditionalmarriage #sahm mom life, real mom life, parenting by @wenintexas

Yep, there were 😅 we watched them scale the entire hotel up to the 7th floor, climb across balconies, knock on our glass to say hi, swing through the trees, pick fruit and eat it, and even carry their babies around! 🐒🥹 Watching monkeys this close in their natural habitat is something no zoo experience could EVER replicate. It made us seriously regret not bringing our 5 and 6 year old along for the trip. Forget the typical resort activities… THIS is the kind of experience your kids will be talking about long after vacation is over. 🫶🏼 I can’t promise you’ll have this experience anywhere else, but I can tell you where we did… JW Marriott Costa Elena, Costa Rica!! 🌴 @jwmarriottcostaelena #jwmarriottcostaelena #jwmarriottcostarica #costaricatravel #kidfriendlyresorts #luxuryresorts 5 star hotels, kid friendly hotels, luxury travel, costa rica vacations, costa rica monkeys, guanacaste by @wenintexas

📍 JW Marriott Costa Elena All-Inclusive Resort | Guanacaste, Costa Rica 17 pools • 9 restaurants • Spa • Kids club We were among the first to experience the resort that’s setting a whole new standard for all-inclusive luxury. ✨ Think intimate, boutique luxury with all the amenities of a five-star resort. The entire property feels intentionally designed around nature, with so much space to spread out that you never feel like you’re sharing it with a crowd. If you love slow mornings, lush tropical landscapes, quiet pools, and a secluded beach that feels like your own private cove, you will love it here. 🫶🏼 Food 🍽️: Always fresh, beautifully presented, and every meal truly felt like an experience. Our favorites were Namuyaki (Japanese/sushi) and Luciano (Italian). Breakfast buffet was wonderful too! 🧘🏼‍♀️Spa: A total sanctuary of its own. We loved the outdoor thermal pool experience before our treatments - you’ll feel fully immersed in nature relaxing beneath the lush hills of the jungle. The passionfruit ginger tea served afterwards was one of our favorite special drinks on the property! 💁🏻‍♀️Service: The staff is warm, attentive, thoughtful, and truly made us feel like royalty. Every interaction felt personal without ever being intrusive. There were so many special touches such as the welcome elixir shot at check-in. My husband went back for full size glasses of it multiple times a day. 🤣 🐒 Entertainment: If you’re looking for a party hotel, this isn’t the place for you. There was volleyball in the pool during the day and a DJ at the central hotel bar at night (music stopped at 9:30pm most nights). But do prepare to see a monkey show right on your balcony 🐵 👧🏼 Bringing kids? There’s a kids club and large waterslide built right into the natural landscape, but don’t expect a game room or endless water sports. It’s much more about enjoying the pools, exploring nature, and slowing down together. For my Dallas friends, it’s less than a 4 hour flight followed by a scenic 1.5 hour drive. 🥥 #jwmarriottcostaelena #costarica #costaricahotels #costaricavacation #luxuryresort lux by @wenintexas
