Snippets of noms with my MAIN(E) squeeze and fam in Portland, ME 🦞⚓️🫐 Visited the lighthouses, had lobster rolls ofc, did a sunset cruise, and explored Portland’s cafes, shops, and restaurants. Lots of other foodie places we didn’t get a chance to visit- until next time!

Mango Sticky Rice n Seafood Sauce lovers rejoice!

If ya love Thai food as much as I do, ya gotta come visit @koontasteofsiam !

Ya get so much flavor in every bite. There are so many unique and authentic dishes to choose from!

We started off with the Thai iced tea and butterfly tea lemonade for bevs. Chicken Satay w/ Roti and Peanut Dumplings for apps. For the main entrees, we had the Pad Ka Praw Kai and Koong Ob Woonsen (gonna need that recipe for app seafood going forward 😍). And ofc, wrapped up this flavorful meal with an obligatory plate of mango sticky rice (perf rice texture and not too sweet) ! 😌🔥

NYC VIRAL MATCHA Gelato

📍 @aokomatcha Bayside Location 🫶

Finally crossed AOKO off my NYC bucket list this weekend. 🍵 I’ve seen this gelato all over my feed for monthsss, but I had to see if it actually lived up to the viral status. Spoiler: it absolutely does.

We went with the Level 3 and Level 5 on a cone - the perfect contrast between that creamy, mellow sweetness and the deep, earthy punch of high-grade matcha. I mean just look at the shades of GREEN 😍 If you’re a true matcha lover, you’ve gotta come here!!

There’s something so satisfying about finding a dessert that leans into creativity without overdoing the sugar. These layers at Chim Chim NYC, a Thai-inspired bakery, are perfectly balanced—vibrant, natural colors and distinct textures that let the real flavors shine through. It’s the ultimate “not-too-sweet” treat that looks just as good as it tastes.

Raspberry Cream Cheese Danishes ♥️

Homemade with extra love! ✨ Turning a Kirkland classic into a 5-ingredient berry delish dessert for my favorite person. This danish is tart, light and creamy, with a flaky crust- pairs perfectly with tea, matcha, or coffee. There’s nothing better than a warm Raspberry CC Danish and a happy BF! 🥐✨

Recipe (yields 6 danishes):

- Puff Pastry: 1 sheet
- Cream Cheese: 1 block (8 oz), softened to room temperature
- Powdered Sugar OR Icing (optional) : 3tbsp of powdered sugar | 1 tbsp of milk of choice
- 1 egg (for that golden glow)
- 1 cup of raspberry jam

Raspberry Jam:
- 3 tbsp of sugar in the raw
- 1 tbsp of lemon juice (freshly squeezed)
- 1 cup of raspberries

Raspberry Jam: 1/2 cup (your homemade goodness!).

Egg: 1 large (for the egg wash to get that Kirkland gold glow

🥣 Instructions:

1. Start with the jam so it has time to cool: Simmer raspberries, sugar, and lemon juice in a saucepan for 8–10 mins until thick. Cool completely.

2. Prep: Preheat oven to 400°F. Cut puff pastry into 6 rectangles. Score a 1/2-inch border inside each piece with a knife (don't cut through).

3. Make the filling: Spread a dollop of softened cream cheese in the center of each rectangle, then top with a spoonful of jam.

4. Brush the pastry edges heavily with the beaten egg. This is the secret to that deep "Kirkland Gold" finish.

5. Bake for 15–20 minutes until the edges are high, flaky, and dark golden brown.

6. Whisk powdered sugar and milk. Drizzle over danishes once they have cooled for 10 minutes.
