Approaching 40, freedom isn’t a holiday to me. It’s becoming my reality.

Freedom looks like being the aesthetic instead of chasing one.

It looks like me setting the tone instead of waiting for permission.

It looks like boundaries that don’t come with guilt.

It looks like falling in love with who I’ve become while giving grace to the version of me that was just trying to figure it out.

People spend a lot of time talking about evolving.

I’m more interested in looking up one day and realizing… I’m already living the life I prayed would become normal.

That’s freedom to me.

Green dresses come a dime a dozen… but showing up in the same green dress as someone else? Absolutely not. 🤦🏾‍♀️💚

I attended a Wizard of Oz: Shades of Green gala, and custom was the only answer. @etsy is one of my best-kept fashion secrets. So many talented designers from all the world on there who can customize & bring your vision to life. The designer of this dress is from Thailand
