A bit of Siegmund that many people may relate to. 😂

"Whomever I met, wherever I found them—
whether I sought the love of friends or women—
I was ever an outcast:
doom lay upon me.
What right counsel I gave, others deemed evil;
what seemed ill to me,
others favored.
Feuds found me wherever I went,
wrath struck me wherever I roamed;
I longed for bliss but woke only woe:
thus must I call myself Woe-Wielder;
for woe alone was my lot."

"Wieviel ich traf, wo ich sie fand,
ob ich um Freund', um Frauen warb,
immer doch war ich geächtet:
Unheil lag auf mir.
Was Rechtes je ich riet, andern dünkte es arg,
was schlimm immer mir schien,
andre gaben ihm Gunst.
In Fehde fiel ich, wo ich mich fand,
Zorn traf mich, wohin ich zog;
gehrt' ich nach Wonne, weckt' ich nur Weh':
drum musst' ich mich Wehwalt nennen;
des Wehes waltet' ich nur."
