📣 COMMUNITY — COME JOIN US IN LAKE PERRIS THIS WEEKEND! 📣

The Machete Muertos 200 is underway, and our 200-mile runners started Wednesday, Oct 28. They’re still out there — lap after lap, through the night. Let’s show up for them. 💪🔥

And tomorrow is a big one: the 10-Miler, 20-Mile Ruck, 50-Miler, and 100-Miler all take the start line Friday at 6:30 PM. Good luck to every single runner toeing that line.

Come out to Lake Perris, cheer them on, and find VINIA at every aid station. VINIA is the Official Blood Flow Hydration Partner of Machete Madness, here to support healthy blood flow and hydration when it matters most.

Can’t make it this weekend? You can still support — shop the VINIA x Machete link, save 48% on your first order when you share your email, and 17.5% of every sale goes back to Machete to support the races and this community.

A “THANK YOU” cap felt right for this morning. 🙏🏽

Every time I speak at a school, I tell the kids how thankful I am to be there. Today in Riverside, I got to encourage another campus to run, walk, and work toward their 100 miles with @100mileclub . One mile at a time. Together.

This weekend in Huntington Beach, I met @jimmyqueen after recognizing him from my friend @themiked777 ’s posts about their Bible studies and running. I picked up a @thankyou.collective cap because I love the message, and today I got to wear it while doing something I’m deeply grateful for.

Even better, Jimmy said he’d love to join me to encourage our youngsters. Jimmy, I’m looking forward to getting an OC school visit on the calendar! 🙌🏽

Grateful to God for the opportunity to serve, for friends who bring people together, and for every chance to help kids discover what they’re capable of.

Run with purpose. Lead with gratitude. Pass it on. 💛

Meet Joe Nakamura.

Joe’s AC100 story began as a runner. In 2014, he crossed the finish line 12th overall in 23:15:33, earning a sub-24-hour finish through the San Gabriels.

But Joe’s impact extends far beyond that finish. He returned to serve at Chilao, learning the aid station before stepping into its leadership. There, Joe and his crew help runners refuel, regroup, and prepare for the long night ahead.

His commitment to service runs even deeper. Joe began running 100-mile races in 2011 to support 100 Mile Club, the youth fitness nonprofit he has served since 2010. In 2026, after years of board and community leadership, he became the organization’s Executive Director.

Joe represents the spirit of AC100: run hard, give back, and help the next person through.

Thank you, Joe. @runwithjesus

Tomorrow, we put these words into action. ❤️

At our @run4kidsultras 𝗦𝗮𝗱𝗱𝗹𝗲𝟮𝗦𝘂𝗿𝗳, runners will take on 50K or 50 miles from our headquarters in Norco all the way to Huntington Beach. Some will run as relay teams. Others will run every mile themselves—but even our solo runners won’t truly be doing it alone. They’ll have crews, friends, family and a community helping them get to the finish.

And that’s exactly what we’re trying to teach our kids.

The shirt is earned.
The pencil is earned.
The bracelet is earned.
Even that GOLD MEDAL is earned. 🥇

But none of those are the most important thing they’ll gain on the journey from Mile 1 to Mile 100.

𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐥 𝐥𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐨𝐧 𝐢𝐬 𝐥𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐰𝐞 𝐝𝐨𝐧’𝐭 𝐡𝐚𝐯𝐞 𝐭𝐨 𝐝𝐨 𝐡𝐚𝐫𝐝 𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐬 𝐚𝐥𝐨𝐧𝐞.

Some days the miles will feel easy. On those days, look around. Find someone who is struggling. Come alongside them and say:

“𝐇𝐨𝐥𝐝 𝐦𝐲 𝐡𝐚𝐧𝐝. 𝐈’𝐥𝐥 𝐝𝐨 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐦𝐢𝐥𝐞𝐬 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐲𝐨𝐮. 𝐖𝐞 𝐜𝐚𝐧 𝐝𝐨 𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐬 𝐭𝐨𝐠𝐞𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐫.”

And some days, YOU might be the one who needs that hand.

That’s community. That’s friendship. That’s team spirit.

Coach John Wooden’s Pyramid of Success teaches 𝐜𝐨𝐨𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧, 𝐟𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐝𝐬𝐡𝐢𝐩, 𝐭𝐞𝐚𝐦 𝐬𝐩𝐢𝐫𝐢𝐭 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐢𝐧𝐝𝐮𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐢𝐨𝐮𝐬𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐬—values that reach far beyond running.

Tomorrow, our adults have an opportunity to model those same lessons for our kids.

𝟓𝟎 𝐦𝐢𝐥𝐞𝐬 𝐢𝐬 𝐚𝐜𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐩𝐥𝐢𝐬𝐡𝐞𝐝 𝐨𝐧𝐞 𝐦𝐢𝐥𝐞 𝐚𝐭 𝐚 𝐭𝐢𝐦𝐞.
𝟏𝟎𝟎 𝐦𝐢𝐥𝐞𝐬 𝐢𝐬 𝐚𝐜𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐩𝐥𝐢𝐬𝐡𝐞𝐝 𝐨𝐧𝐞 𝐦𝐢𝐥𝐞 𝐚𝐭 𝐚 𝐭𝐢𝐦𝐞.

𝐀𝐧𝐝 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐡𝐚𝐫𝐝𝐞𝐬𝐭 𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐬 𝐢𝐧 𝐥𝐢𝐟𝐞 𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐚𝐜𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐩𝐥𝐢𝐬𝐡𝐞𝐝 𝐨𝐧𝐞 𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐩 𝐚𝐭 𝐚 𝐭𝐢𝐦𝐞—𝐭𝐨𝐠𝐞𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐫.

Our kids are watching us.

𝑻𝒉𝒆 𝒎𝒆𝒅𝒂𝒍 𝒊𝒔𝒏’𝒕 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝒍𝒆𝒔𝒔𝒐𝒏.
𝑻𝒉𝒆 𝒑𝒆𝒐𝒑𝒍𝒆 𝒃𝒆𝒔𝒊𝒅𝒆 𝒚𝒐𝒖 𝒐𝒏 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝒘𝒂𝒚 𝒕𝒐 𝒆𝒂𝒓𝒏𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝒊𝒕 𝒂𝒓𝒆.

Run with purpose. ❤️

🌺⚽️ Miles Beyond the Soccer Field 🏃💙
What do soccer players from Hawaiʻi and the 100 Mile Club have in common?

A commitment to teamwork, healthy habits, and giving back.

This week, we had the privilege of welcoming 13 amazing athletes and 4 coaches from Leahi Soccer Club to the 100 Mile Club headquarters. They rolled up their sleeves and donated their time to help organize thousands of student incentives for the upcoming school year.

Mahalo! 🌺 Your hard work will help inspire children across the country to get moving, one mile at a time.

But their impact doesn’t stop there...

The Leahi Soccer Club is also proudly participating in our Club262 Summer Challenge, tracking miles all summer to stay active between seasons. This weekend, many of those miles will be earned while competing in three matches at SilverLakes Sports Complex!

Club262 is a fun way for teams, clubs, schools, and organizations of every sport to stay active, build healthy habits, and celebrate movement throughout the summer. Participants earn fun incentives—including our beautiful Club262 finisher medals—while turning every mile into a step toward a healthier lifestyle.

⚽️ Soccer.
🏀 Basketball.
🏐 Volleyball.
🥎 Softball.
🏃 Cross Country.
🥍 Lacrosse.

Mahalo again to everyone at leahisc Soccer Club for your partnership, your energy, and for representing what it means to live an active lifestyle. Best of luck this weekend—we’ll be cheering you on from California! 💙💚🤍

🇺🇸 Happy 250th Birthday, America! 🇺🇸

Today was about more than a parade, it was a celebration of the freedoms we share, the communities we serve, and the next generation we’re investing in together.

What an honor to stand alongside our city leaders, law enforcement, community organizations, volunteers, and families as we celebrated our nation’s independence. While each of us serves in different ways, we’re united by one purpose: building stronger, healthier, and more connected communities.

At 100 Mile Club, we believe one of the greatest gifts we can give our children is the opportunity to move, grow, and discover what they’re capable of. Together, we can help fight childhood inactivity while teaching perseverance, confidence, resilience, and the value of serving something bigger than ourselves.

Thank you to everyone who waved, cheered, and celebrated with us today. We hope you’ll join us next year & walk beside us in the parade as we celebrate our nation’s freedom and inspire even more kids to take their first steps toward a healthier future.

🏃‍♂️ Ready to take the next step? Registration is now OPEN for the Saddle2Surf 50K • 50 Mile • Ultra & Relay! Join us for one of Southern California’s most unique urban ultramarathons as we run with purpose from 🤠Horsetown USA to 🏄‍♀️Surf City USA, helping inspire kids to lead healthier, more active lives through the 100 Mile Club.

Freedom. Community. Purpose. See you on the starting line.

Happy Independence Day, and God bless America! 🇺🇸❤️

EPIC

The Lord provided a beautiful morning to finish our weekly miles! #thankful by @werunrepublic

"If you love me, you need to donate!" 😂❤️

Joe Nakamura is laying it all on the line! Whether he's talking about friends eating entire loaves of bread during a run or sharing how the 100 Mile Club "saves lives", Joe is all in.

He’s running because he remembers being a kid who couldn't afford expensive sports, but he could do a program like the 100 Mile Club because it was accessible to everyone.

Don't make Joe take it personally—click the link and support his run today! 😉
