But this journey taught me that legacy isn’t just inherited… it’s earned through perseverance.

There were moments when the future looked uncertain, when the struggle felt bigger than the vision.
But growth changed the story. Discipline changed the story. God changed the story.

And in the same season, my mother and I walked across the Howard stage together.
Not just as graduates, but as proof that purpose, sacrifice, and faith can rewrite any narrative.

Today I can certainly say I understand what that feels like. It has been a year now and I can definitely say it’s been one of the best years of my life with an extremely amazing woman by my side. Our time together is always peaceful and enjoyable. Laughs upon laughs, smiles on smiles, hugs and hugs and definitely our deep admiration for each other. It takes a special person to make you want to write this much, but that’s exactly what she is to me and so many others. Words like Majestic, caring, loving, giving,admirable and faithful are all things I can say bring the best out of me because of her. Thank you Celeste! This past year has been beyond amazing.
