CONTENT CREATOR (noun)

“Let’s see how long this lasts”
“So what are you going to do for money?”
“That’s just bat-sh*t crazy”
“Cringe…lol”

Our journey with content creation has always been a pipe dream just chugging along in the background , a “yeah let’s do it one day” kind of fantasy. Because scoping out the landscape, there weren’t many people that looked like us doing it.

Growing up in an immigrant household, the roadmap has always been; be a good student, get that 9-5, work hard, marry, have kids, buy the white picket fence house and live happily ever after.

It’s an amazing dream, but it was not ours…well not yet anyway.

Back in 2020, we were getting ready to put a downpayment on a house and do just that; but then the world pressed the RESET button so, like everyone, we took a hard look at what our life would look like. Did we really want to live life like that?

When we’re in our deathbed, can we look back and say out loud, that we lived it a 100%?

So despite going against all forms of conformity and societal norms, we decided to take that money and plan for a year long trip instead. We went from “yeah, let’s do it one day” to “let’s start our DAY ONE”

Our why?

We wanted to set an example for the next generation, our young nieces and nephews that yes, if they’re passionate about doing videos or doing any other profession outside what society deems acceptable…that it’s just as valid as any other job.

We wanted people to realize that traveling and experiencing the world is not only reserved for the elite but even normal joe schmo’s, like us, can have a shot at it too.

That beyond the shiny material things, designer clothes, and fancy cars…EXPERIENCES are what makes life worth living.

“Because in the end, we only REGRET the chances we didn’t take.”

WHEN REALITY EXCEEDS EXPECTATIONS ⬇️

To be honest, we totally had a different itinerary planned in a totally different state. But something about Idaho kept calling my name and I insisted that we cancel all of it and divert our weekend trip to Idaho instead.

And boy did it not disappoint. Even the drive from CO ➡️ ID was already so stunning. We had a full itinerary and drove almost 3,000 miles in 2 days which was bananas now that I look back on it.

We cannot wait to share more of the goodness this week. 🥰

I would like to speak to whoever got us into collecting national park merch because this “hobby” is getting out of hand 🫠🫠🫠 Who else feels victimized by this?!?

This is a Must Do Bucket List Utah Hike 👇

📌 If you are planning to visit Utah, and more specifically the Utah Mighty 5 - SAVE & SHARE this post for future reference.

It’s no wonder a whopping ~1.5 million people visit this landmark every year 🤯 What makes it special? Unlike many other arches in Arches National Park that are part of cliffs or walls, Delicate Arch stands completely free, framed by open sky, making it a striking geological marvel. The hike itself is moderately strenuous with steep sections up a rock slab ; and there is a bonus tiny little arch too,a few feet before the viewpoint that offers a unique perspective away from the crowds.

Here are the trail details for when you go:

📍 Location: Arches National Park, near Moab, Utah
🥾 Trail Length: 3 miles round trip
🏔️ Elevation Gain: ~480 feet
🏅 Difficulty: Moderate (steep sections and slick rock)
⏰ Best Time to Visit: Early morning or late afternoon (cooler temperatures and softer lighting for photos)
🚗 Parking: Wolfe Ranch Trailhead (limited parking; arrive early to avoid crowds)

💡 Notes:

- The trail is fully exposed with no shade—bring plenty of water and sun protection.
- Best viewed at sunrise or sunset for incredible lighting and fewer crowds.
- The final approach involves walking along a narrow rock ledge, so watch your footing.
- Delicate Arch is an iconic symbol of Utah—great for capturing dramatic and classic shots.
- Winter visits can be less crowded but check for icy conditions on the slick rock.

How to do this iconic Arches National Park Hike in Utah 👇👇

📌 If you are planning to visit Utah, and more specifically the Utah Mighty 5 - SAVE & SHARE this post for future reference.

The Devil’s Garden Loop Trail at Arches National Park is a must do and in our opinion is the best bang for your buck hike. You get to see 8+ arches in one go, including Landscape Arch, Double O Arch, and Partition Arch; and spoiler alert, the entire hike in itself is so scenic. There will not be a single second where you won’t be oohing and ahh-ing at the views.

Here are the trail details:

📍 Location: Arches National Park, near Moab, Utah
🥾 Trail Length: 7.9 miles (loop)
🏔️ Elevation Gain: ~1,000 feet
🏅 Difficulty: Moderate to strenuous (rock scrambling in some sections)
⏰ Best Time to Visit: Spring (March-May) and Fall (September-November) for cooler temperatures
🚗 Parking: Large lot at the Devils Garden Trailhead (arrive early; fills up quickly)

💡 Notes:
- The highly rated Devil’s Garden campground is right across from this trail. If you plan to snag a site, reservations are available 6 months in advance and is very competitive.
- Perfect for sunrise or sunset photography of the arches.
- Bring plenty of water, especially in summer months, as there is little shade.
- Great for adventurous hikers looking for a mix of iconic views and lesser-traveled paths.

📌 Save this spot for future roadtrip planning

If you haven’t been living under a rock and lived through the whole Twilight Saga frenzy, seeing these locations again will for sure bring a wave of nostalgia.

With some light (ok heavy) persuading, I was able to convince Wes to make a pit stop to this iconic location. And even though he was huffing and reluctantly puffing because it definitely lived up to Bella’s iconic intro of

“…the small town of Forks, Washington… a tiny town under a near-constant cover of clouds and rain.”

Here are the iconic setting for the Twilight Saga films and a perfect destination for spooky-season fans:

📍Forks High School
The exterior of the real Forks High School appears in the movies, capturing the feel of a small-town school in the misty Washington climate.

📍Forks Community Hospital
Known as “Dr. Cullen’s Hospital,” this is where Bella first meets Carlisle Cullen in the Twilight books. There’s even a reserved “Dr. Cullen” parking spot that fans love to photograph.

📍The Swan House
Bella’s house in the movie wasn’t filmed in Forks, but a replica has been created for fans to visit, capturing the feel of her iconic home from the films

📍Forks Police Station
Home to Charlie Swan, Bella’s dad in the story. Visitors often stop by to take pictures of the sign and imagine Charlie’s police cruiser parked outside.

📍Forks Outfitters
Where Bella and her friends often shop in the books, Forks Outfitters is an actual local grocery and clothing store, giving fans a taste of small-town life.

📍La Push Beach (First Beach)
While technically outside Forks in La Push, this beach is where Bella and Jacob spend time together. The rocky, fog-covered beach is a must-visit for Twilight fans and adds to the spooky, atmospheric experience of a Forks road trip.

Velveeta, Kraft or Annie’s?!? 🤔

The past few years, we have made a conscious effort to prioritize experiences over everything else. Memories > Birkin bags am I right?
