@newportjazzfest has spent seven decades proving that tradition and innovation can share the same stage. The legendary festival took place at Rhode Island’s Fort Adams State Park the first weekend of August, and it featured legends like @roncarterbassist, up-and-coming artists like @nubya_garcia, and artists that push the boundaries of genre like @flyinglotus, @willowsmith, and @theroots.
