Congratulations to Jaxson Wright (Wesleyan School) on his recent commitment to Wagner College!

Wright is our 40th commit in the 2028 class and we couldn’t be more excited for him and this NEC opportunity. Jaxson is a do it all midfielder that has the ability to change a game in all three sectors of the field. From a tough wing ground ball, dodging down the alley and hammering a corner, or dominating his match up on the defensive side of the ball, Jaxson just finds a way to get the job done. A true leader on the field and a great player for any young midfielder to look up to! Jaxson will be playing alongside his brother Lagassee and we can’t wait to see the impact they have in Staten Island!

Congratulations to Jaxson and the entire Wright family. Go Seahawks!

Wagner 32’

I am so blessed to announce my commitment to Wagner, and to further my academic and athletic career at the Division 1 level.

First and foremost I would like to thank my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Without him and his blessings I wouldn’t be where I am at today and for that I am so thankful. I also want to give a huge shoutout to my parents and siblings. They all supported me and pushed me to be the best version of myself and I have no clue where I would be without them.

I would like to thank Coach Breslin for everything he has done for me and my family. He has shaped me into the lacrosse player and man I am today. Thank you to every coach at Wesleyan that has pushed me into to becoming a better athlete and for all their support.

A huge thank you to Coach Daniels for taking a chance on an undersized kid and giving your all to help develop me. I can’t put into words what you have done to impact my life for the better. Also, thank you to Coach Millane for always being there for me and help developing me.

Thank you to Coach Dave, Coach Leary, Coach Parker, and the rest of the 3D Georgia staff. Coach Parker, thank you for always believing in me and always checking up on me. Coach Leary, thank you for always pushing me to my limit and making me a better lacrosse player. Coach Dave, thank you for believing in my skills and giving me the opportunity to play at the next level.

A special thank you to Boerne Lacrosse and Auburn Lacrosse. You helped instill a love for the game in me and helped build friendships that will last a lifetime.
Lastly, I want to thank Coach Fox, Coach Zakauskas, Coach Foss, and Coach Cohen for giving me the opportunity to play at the next level.

Congratulations to Lagassee Wright (Wesleyan School) on his recent commitment to Wagner College!

Wright is our 39th commit in the 2028 class and we couldn’t be more excited for him and this NEC opportunity. Lagassee is the type of player any team would be lucky to have. He plays with a relentless effort and selflessness which leads to tough ground balls, elite hustle, and juice plays that give the whole team energy and life. Lagassee is a pest when he is in your hands and can get the ball off the turf and to the offensive end with pace. An absolute stud is headed to Staten Island!

Congratulations to Lagassee and the entire Wright family. Go Seahawks!

Wagner ‘32

I am extremely excited and blessed to announce that I will continue my academic and athletic career at Wagner College.

First and foremost, I want to thank my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ for all he has done. Without him, none of this would be possible.

I would like to thank my parents for all the sacrifices they have made for me to be able to have an opportunity like this. The moves, long drives, and extra hours on and off the field; you encouraged me to be my best and I am so grateful. I would also like to thank my brother Elijah and Jaxson for all the support over the years. You guys have pushed me to be the best version of myself.

Thank you to Coach Breslin and the whole Wesleyan coaching staff. I am so grateful for all you have done for me, taking me in and helping me develop my game while also being able to go to such a great school.

I would also like to thank the 3d coaches, Coach Dave, Coach Leary, Coach Black, Coach Sam, and Coach Parker. Thank you for helping me grow as a player and be disciplined as a player. Thank you Coach Daniels for all you have done for me. Teaching me lacrosse and how to love the game while also teaching me so many lessons. I will always appreciate you showing up to games and all the times we talk.

Finally, I want to thank Coach Fox, Coach Zukauskas, Coach Foss, and Coach Cohen for believing in me and giving me this amazing opportunity. I am extremely excited to head up to Staten Island. Go Seahawks! by @wesleyanboyslax
