I have had so many proud dad moments when it comes to my kids. The road has not been easy, but God has been good. Houston’s team’s game on Wednesday against Arkansas was one for the ages - arguably the game of the year thus far.

Proud of my daughter @akasolie and her Corona Centennial girls basketball teammates. Recognized last night by the Corona-Norco Unified School District for their 2026 CIF Division I state championship. The girls had a great season with head coach @mtumambing and staff leading the way! by @wesleymallette

What a Senior Night. So proud of you, son. You’ve had an amazing career and the next chapter will come soon enough. But most importantly, you continue to done it the right way and your family is most proud of you for the man you have become, how you’ve treated others, and the impact you’ve made. Keep doing that and keep God first.

The best part? Hearing from so many people wherever we go just how much they appreciate you and the way you treat them. A parent’s dream.

Thank you to all of Houston’s coaches, teammates, trainers, academic staff, doctors, administrators, fans, media, families, and communities we have been connected with along the way. We appreciate every one of you.

From Alameda to Alabama, SoCal to the SEC, through basketball you will see the world but because of basketball you can change the world.
