OUR MASTERPIECE IS OUT AHH!! This is the most ambitious project I’ve taken on and I couldn’t be happier with the result. This is the second project I’ve worked on for @liammiiler and he pulled UP (and s/o to @omarrini for creative direction and moral support). It was a group project I’m so proud to have the world see what we’ve put so much effort and love into. And per my way of doing things, no images or effects were ai generated— were very adamant on hand made visuals and audio. LINK IN BIO TO WATCH #videographer #production #vfx #photographer

Our favorite shot of the video was Liam grabbing the camera. Pure cinema 🤌

Color grading the film was a blast. Incredibly difficult with the range of colors and lighting situation we were dealing with. We wanted something that resembled 16mm film stock, and needed a healthy blend of retro film and modern digital film.

Fun fact I had a gimbal but I never actually had it on. Tbh it smooths footage out wayyyy to much and the handheld feel gave a much more organic and intense feel. It fit the music way better

“Polaroids flying” VFX BTS!!! I’ve had a passion for VFX for a while, but have never committed to using what I’ve learned in a project. I wanted to create intensity during the songs peak, and using a few programs and two computers the effect was born. Definitely a tough process but totally worth the visual value it adds!

Still of the Polaroids flying. Tbh the motion blur totally sold the effect, along side a depth map that allowed some of them to fly behind him and create depth in the scene.

Finally we also shot the songs single cover at the Griffith observatory. Also a very complicated shot in terms of the lighting and colors, but the result was totally worth it. Liam has a very specific vision in mind for his content and I was very happy to deliver exactly what he needed!! by @wesmrtn
