POSTS STORIES REELS

CrossFit Seminar Staff sits at the front line of a global movement, shaping how the world learns, coaches, and lives health and fitness. Every year, more than 1,000 seminars take place across continents, bringing together aspiring coaches, athletes, and everyday people chasing something more: real, lasting health.⁣
⁣
These aren’t just courses. They are experiences led by the iconic Red Shirts — elite trainers recognized not just for what they know, but for how they live it.⁣
⁣
Wes Piatt is one of them.⁣
⁣
A Senior Trainer and Seminar Staff member since 2013, Piatt has led more than 100 Level 1 and Level 2 Certificate Courses, impacting thousands of lives along the way. But his mission goes beyond the whiteboard. As the owner of Coast Range CrossFit in Gilroy, California, a husband, and a father of two, Piatt lives the standard he teaches: real food, daily movement, kindness, and consistency.⁣
⁣
For Piatt, wearing the red shirt isn’t just a role; it’s a responsibility. Being on Seminar Staff means more than teaching others. It means holding yourself to a higher standard, every single day. It means staying curious, staying humble, and never arriving.⁣
⁣
“To be on the CrossFit Seminar Staff means that I’m constantly pursuing excellence,” Piatt says. “I’m constantly pursuing the white-belt mentality of never feeling like I’ve made it.”⁣

As coaches and owners, we have the cool opportunity every single day to show new faces exactly what @CrossFit stands for.

Whether it’s hitting the standards in a workout, adhering to nutrition recommendations, or how we treat people during the in-between moments, walking the talk builds a level of trust that words just can’t reach.

Most exercise programs prepare you for the gym.

CrossFit prepares you for the day you decide moving a giant trampoline by yourself is a good idea. 🤷‍♂️😂 by @wespiatt2013

Leveling up your game does not have to equal coaching.
🚀👽
If you're interested in becoming a better, more knowledgable athletes, or even a more formidable human. Go to the CrossFit Level 1. This 2-day seminar and education has transformed the landscape of fitness for over 20 years.
👽🚀
The CrossFit Seminar Staff will do it in a way that makes your mind rethink what the human body is capable of. But know that the Level 1 is only just the beginning. It is the base. A pyramid is only as big as the base. And the base of CrossFit Methodology is a deep rabbit hole of being physically capable and prepared! by @wespiatt2013

Ever feel like you need years of experience just to get your foot in the door? 🤔

Drop a comment if you've felt this!

In the world of healthcare, many are stuck in a cycle where employers want new hires to have experience, but how can you gain that experience without being hired? It's a frustrating paradox.

This dilemma isn't just about qualifications; it's about understanding what you're signing up for. Are you aware of the journey ahead when you pursue a career in fields like CrossFit coaching or nursing?

Let's break it down:
- The L1 certificate course might not be enough to prepare you for real-world challenges.
- Employers often want to pay you like a newbie but expect seasoned skills.
- It's crucial to know what you're getting into before diving in.

What do you think? Are we setting up new professionals for success or failure? 💭

We’re all just visiting. Make your stay EPIC! by @wespiatt2013

We’re all asking the wrong question.
It’s not "why am I lazy?", it’s "why am I so tired all the time?"

Save this for the next time your energy feels weird, and send it to the friend who says they’re "just getting old."
The biggest reasons we talked about:
Food - processed stuff and hidden junk make your body work harder than it should.
Sleep - no real wind-down routine means your brain never gets the signal to power down.
Exercise - too little movement drains you, too much intensity without recovery does too.
Stress + caffeine - constant stimulation keeps your system stuck in overdrive.
The fix is not perfection.

It’s a better why, a better rhythm, and a little more honesty about what’s actually running your day.
If you want more energy, start there.

WE DID IT! 🚀❤️ THE WELLNESS PROGRAM ROADMAP IS OFFICIALLY LIVE!

What if your gym could become the place where someone takes their first steps after a stroke? Where someone living with Parkinson’s builds confidence in their movement? Or where an older adult regains the strength to get off the floor and play with their grandkids?

THAT is the power of fitness. And we want to help you bring it to your community.

After years of working with these incredible populations, we’ve put together a complete, self-paced, start-to-finish roadmap to help affiliate owners, coaches, and fitness instructors build their own Wellness program.

Inside, we’ll walk you through:

✅ How to start and structure your program from the ground up.

✅ Who these programs are for and how to meet athletes where they are.

✅ The benchmarks we use to measure meaningful, real-world progress.

✅ Special considerations when coaching older adults, stroke survivors, individuals living with Parkinson’s, and athletes with significant physical limitations.

✅ How to create a program that changes lives while expanding your gym’s impact in the community.

You don’t need to reinvent the wheel. We’ve already built the roadmap. Now it’s your turn to put it to work.

There are people in YOUR community who need what you have to offer. They just might not know it yet.

Let’s change that.
