I'm not an artist. I'm a designer who makes art on occasion. Tonight was one of those times.

Politcal stuff ahead.

I grew up in the church, and I don't mean a specific church, just sort of the Christian system, you know? I was read the bible stories, learned who Jesus was, and got a few Lego sets for remembering memory verses. I was told that christians were to love and respect immigrants (Leviticus 19:34, Exodus 23:9, Leviticus 19:33, Exodus 22:21, Deuteronomy 10:19) that greed is the worship of wealth, and therefore is idolatry, and that war is the weapon of Satan, not the flag of the church. But now I see people who call themselves Christians spread hate with a sickening grin. I refuse to be silent and watch the people, who were taught the same stories I was, who read the same bible and who prayed the same prayers support the vile actions that Donald Trump commits. If he is your king, so be it. But do not claim Jesus is yours as well. And while I'm not here to debate theology, this is a verse that stuck out to me.

1 Samuel 8: 10-18

I don't hate the church. I can't. But, I'm deeply saddened by many people who call themselves christians. And this is not all churches or all people who love Jesus, but the hateful voices are loud and numerous. If you truly want to live like Jesus and love thy neighbor, you don't get to pick and choose. It doesn't matter if they live like you, look like you or even worship like you, your responsibility is to love them. And this doesn't mean your next door neighbor on your white suburban cul de sac. It means everyone.

Choose who your king is. Either worship Donald and the dollar bill, or worship the king of heaven and earth.

And for my non-christian folk out there. Your position is equally as valid as any other religion's (except scientology) and its unfair that the U.S.A. is run like it's a strictly religious country, when in the constitution, it said it isn't. I feel for you.
