OKAY hi guys,

i just wanted to take a second and thank everyone who watched painkiller. i hope it spoke to you. i hope it made you angry. i hope it made you want to join the fight.

i also want to thank the family we formed during that fall of 2021. i love this cast and this crew so much. they are all so talented and devoted and creative and collaborative and kind. it truly does take a village.

thank you @noahharpster and @micahfb for writing such a powerful, heartbreaking, and nuanced script.

thank you @shihabidina for always being the most generous scene partner. you’re my big sister. and @uzoaduba, i am constantly in awe of you.

and finally thank you @pberg44 for trusting me with Shannon. it was such a privilege to be directed by you. you taught me and guided me and believed in me, and it meant the world.

there is a link in my bio (choose ‘criminal law’ for the topic) that you can visit and express your support in the fight against the Sacklers, Purdue, and the epidemic they started and continue to perpetuate.

much love and gratitude,

west by @westduchovny
