Beyond grateful for the opportunity to attend this year’s ADA House of Delegates with CDA’s District 13 delegation! One of the best parts of this experience was the opportunity to learn from and work alongside so many incredible dentists who have become mentors, friends, and hopefully, soon-to-be colleagues (God-willing!! 😅🙏🏼).
Truly thankful for the friendships, memories, and opportunities that organized dentistry continues to bring. A special thank you to CDA and District 13 for welcoming Tony and I with open arms and making us feel like part of the family! And a special congratulations to our very own Dr. Karin Irani on being elected ADA President-Elect! #cdaproud #organizeddentistry by @westernucdm

SNDA and HSDA @westernucdm clubs proudly partnered at CCNP’s 14th Annual Health & Resource Fair to provide dental screenings and Oral Health Instructions (OHI) to our local community.

We are grateful for the opportunity to promote oral health education, increase awareness, and give back through meaningful community outreach. Dentistry is about more than treating teeth, it’s about educating, empowering, and making a positive impact on the lives of others.

A special shoutout to Dr. Johnny Han for his continued support, mentorship, and guidance. We truly appreciate your dedication to our students and community outreach efforts.

A sincere thank you to @laccnp for inviting us to be part of this wonderful event and for creating opportunities for students and organizations to come together in support of a healthier community!

Together, we’re building healthier communities, one smile at a time. by @westernucdm

At Camarena Health’s Almond Campus Dental Clinic, the Power of Care goes beyond providing exceptional dental care—it’s about investing in the future of the profession.

Through hands-on training, mentorship, and a welcoming learning environment, our dental team helps students build confidence, strengthen their skills, and gain real-world experience.

Since 2021, Dr. Thakkar and Dr. Portales have collectively precepted 126 students across 61 rotations, creating meaningful opportunities for the next generation of dental professionals to learn, grow, and serve their communities.

By providing complimentary on-site housing for Western University students during their rotations, we’re helping them feel welcomed, supported, and at home while they learn.

We’re proud to help shape the future of dentistry—and even prouder of the students who continue to inspire us along the way.

This is the Power of Care. #PowerofCare#DentistMentorship by @westernucdm

First day of dental school, and we’re already talking AI!

Dr. Alexander Lee and I had the opportunity to welcome our DMD Class of 2030 with a session on AI Literacy, exploring how to engage with AI thoughtfully, ethically, and responsibly as future oral health professionals.

What better time to start the conversation than Day 1?

Welcome to WesternU CDM, DMD 2030s! We are proud and excited that you’re here!

🦷 CDM Family Day! 🦷

A special CDM tradition following the White Coat Ceremony, Family Day gives our newest DMD class the opportunity to bring their loved ones back to campus and share a glimpse into their journey ahead.

Our DMD Class of 2030 had a wonderful time showing their families around SIM Clinic and the Patient Care Clinic, exploring the spaces where they’ll spend countless hours learning, growing, and preparing to become the next generation of dentists.

We loved seeing our DMD 2030s share their excitement with the people who support them most. 💙🦷

Here’s to the start of an incredible journey! Welcome, DMD 2030! 🎉 #cdmproud taken in WesternU College of Dental Medicine by @westernucdm
