Also known as Mustang on Demand, MOD is a FREE shuttle service that picks up when the LTC stops running at night 🚗

Enjoy FREE rides home every Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday night from 12am to 3am 💜

We know OWeek can be tiring, but the ride home’s on us! 🚗 💜⁠
⁠
During OWeek, shuttles will be operating nightly to get you home safely after events. Just tell the driver where you live, and you’ll be dropped off at the closest intersection within the highlighted routes. Living outside the mapped areas? We’ll have minivans onsite to get you home safely.⁠
⁠
Here’s how it works ⬇️⁠
✅ Figure out the route for you
✅ Get picked up at Alumni Hall⁠
✅ Get dropped off at the closest intersection on your route⁠
✅ Shuttles run Monday to Saturday

Today is the last day to opt-out of PurpleCARE 💜

Here's what you need to know, if you choose to opt out:

🏥 Health: Can opt-out if you have coverage through a parent, guardian, or work
🦷 Dental, Virtual Health Care/SAP: Opt out without supplemental coverage
❌ You are not eligible for Canadian Dental Care Plan (CDCP) coverage if you opt out of PurpleCARE's dental plan
❌ You automatically lose access to the new Student Assistance Program (SAP) if you opt out of Virtual Health Care
💵 Your fee(s) will be reimbursed to your statement of account on the 2nd tuition statement
❌ You cannot opt back in once this process has been completed

Opt-out is available until September 23, 2026 at 11:30 PM.
NO EXCEPTIONS will be made after this deadline and students must pay the plan's mandatory fees should they miss the opt-out deadline.
ALUMO (Health and Dental) and Virtual Health Care are two separate opt-outs. You cannot regain coverage through PurpleCARE unless you lose supplemental coverage. by @westernusc_services
