A lowcountry love story 🦪🦢🌿🦀🤍

When it came to Brooke + Max’s wedding paper, truly no detail was missed. From the custom oyster die-cut reply cards that carried through as day-of drink coasters, to the watercolor lowcountry motifs used on escort cards + table numbers, and all the little details in between, every piece was created with so much intention. 4 years married to the love of my life, and the moment my love for wedding paper began!!

Tbh I knew next to nothing about paper back then, but I had a graphic design degree, a looove for design and a vision of all the pretty flatlays I kept seeing online. With the help of lots of random Etsy vendors and my hometown printer (s/o Casey), I made it work!! The single most important thing to me was cohesion - every font, every color, every teeny detail needed to look and feel completely seamless. That standard is such a core part of what Westgate Creative is built on today.

Looking back on these photos, it’s easy to pick out a dozen things I’d do differently with the experience I have now. But I’m so grateful for the learning experience and genuinely can’t believe all that has happened in the past four years (both professionally and personally). Ashley + Didi welcomed guests to a traditional Igbo wedding on Friday, followed by an American wedding on Saturday.
