✨Cover Reveal ✨Stained💜🌈

First time illustrating a cover for a middle-grade novel. Published by @penguinrandomhouse @holidayhousepeachtree, preorder is open across multiple platforms. Stained is a novel in verse about a boy who comes into his own behind the lens of a camera, where he can obscure his appearance from others while taking in the world around him.

Twelve-year-old Uly is new to the small town. Though he is tall for his age, beneath his imposing stature is the gentle, kind-hearted soul of an artist. Uly loves photography and he’s thrilled to be tasked with taking photos of the school’s mural project. Happy behind the scenes, Uly watches as students come together to paint a local artist’s design; it even brings him out of his shell a bit. Life is good, until a tiny rainbow becomes a giant problem…

It was a pleasure working on this beautiful book written by Rhonda Dechambeau. Many thanks to AD Chelsea Hunter for the trust and my Agent Karen for supporting ✨ @weareillustrationx

New work for @cedarssinai ‘s Discoveries Magazine.

The story focuses on the five-year anniversary of Cedars-Sinai’s Department of Computational Biomedicine, which has become a collaborative hub connecting computational scientists with clinicians and researchers across the institution. A major theme throughout the piece is the accelerating pace of scientific discovery—how advances that once took months can now happen in days.

Thanks to AD Robert Parsons @sevenelm for trusting me on this fun project:)

The weather in NYC this week just reminded me of the illustration I made for @nytimestravel @nytimes in 2024, about how to deal the heat wave. 😅💦💦🫠
