When people ask why I own a restaurant when they have such low profit margins, the answer is I love what I do. I meet so many cool people. I get to hear about their family, life, day, etc. We support cool causes. I just love everything about it. Come make our day by letting us get to know you! #community #neighborhood #workfun #bartenderlife by @westovertaco_
Thank you to everyone that showed up in support of DVAM! #arlingtonva #lemonandwhim๐Ÿ‹ #doorways #westovertaco by @westovertaco_
The Fund Her Game Launch Party is just ONE WEEK AWAY, and we have some exciting updates! ๐ŸŽ‰ First, weโ€™ve added kids tickets for just $40! Each kids ticket includes dinner, a drink, a gift, and a small donation to Fund Her Game, so the whole family can be part of the celebration. And we are SO excited to share that Paloma Benach, professional pitcher for the Boston Hunters, will be joining us as a special guest! โšพ๏ธ Paloma will be speaking at the event, sharing a little about her journey from growing up playing baseball in D.C. to pitching professionally, and sheโ€™ll be available for photos too. We couldnโ€™t think of a better person to help us celebrate the launch of Fund Her Game and what this fund is all about, creating more opportunities for girls and women in sports. ๐ŸŽŸ๏ธ Get your tickets now: www.FundHerGame.com/launch or use the link in our profile. More about Paloma: Paloma Benach is a left handed pitcher for the Boston Hunters in the Womenโ€™s Pro Baseball League. She grew up in Washington D.C., playing baseball since she was 4 years old. She played 4 years of high school baseball for Jackson Reed High School, being named varsity captain her senior year. She then played two years of college baseball at Occidental College in Los Angeles California, while also studying psychology and cognitive science. She was an extremely valuable pitcher for Boston this season, posting a 3.50 ERA in 14 innings pitched and a 2.29 WHIP. While she was incredibly proud to represent Boston this season, nothing compares to representing her hometown of D.C. and the community in the DMV area. by @westovertaco_
