@WorldWentCrzy turns abandonment, addiction, anger, and fatherhood into one brutally personal record.

The song opens from the perspective of someone raised around loss, watching family members battle addiction while finding belonging wherever it was available. But underneath everything is a deeper wound: growing up without a father who was supposed to be there.

Years later, the roles have changed.

The same father who once walked away now wants a relationship, leaving him caught between anger, unanswered questions, and not knowing what he would even say if that conversation finally happened.

There are no excuses accepted here. Not alcohol. Not youth. Not immaturity. The pain isn't simply that his father was absent, but that he never truly took accountability for what his absence did.

Then the record takes its most powerful turn: fatherhood.

Becoming a father doesn't make him understand why his own father left. It makes him understand it even less. The love and protectiveness he feels for his own children forces him to confront the question he's carried his entire life:

How could somebody have a child and choose not to be there?

And that's where the cycle breaks.

He even gave his child the name of the man who abandoned him, showing just how complicated love, resentment, respect, and family can become when they're all tangled together.

This isn't a song about pretending the pain disappeared.

It's about what you build from it.

He was thrown away, but never became disposable.
He was left in the cold, but learned how to become shelter.
He grew up without the father he needed, then became the father his children would never have to search for.

WorldWentCrazy turns an absent father's shadow into a promise: the cycle ends here.
