🎙️POST-GAME INTERVIEW FEATURING COACH CHAMP AND JULAIN FROM THE @westsidewizardz

Championship Caliber teams don’t panic, they adjust.

The Westside Wizards survived a physical battle, but it wasn’t easy. After the final buzzer, I caught up with Player of the Game Julian and Coach Champ to break down how they found a way to finish the job.

Julian poured in 24 points, proving that even when every bucket has to be earned, stars find a way to deliver.

Coach Champ revealed what changed after halftime: matching the opponent’s physicality, slowing the pace, and trusting the Wizards’ basketball IQ to take control of the game when it mattered most.

Sometimes the loudest statement isn’t made by playing faster. It’s made by playing smarter.

When the game turned into a chess match, the Wizards made all the right moves. Pulling off a 69-68 win against the HYTB Jazz.

The question now is…

Who’s ready to outthink—and outlast—the Westside Wizards in Week 4?

🏆 THE WEST VILLAIN ARRIVES WITH RECEIPTS.

Before the new chapter even began, Jeremy Martin walked into HEROES VS VILLAINS with proof of what happens when the lights get bright.

2025 FALL LEAGUE: SCARY HOURS MVP.
presented by @justlikejaya & @doseofvanessa
A trophy earned through work. Through production. Through doing exactly what his team needed him to do.

In his words, it’s bigger than points. Bigger than stats. Bigger than one season.

To Jeremy, the MBA means togetherness, family, respect, and community & that’s exactly why this trophy has significant meaning. It represents what Marietta basketball gave him… and what he gave back.

But make no mistake… this isn’t a sentimental retirement speech.

This is a warning. 🚨

Jeremy Martin didn’t choose the villain side by accident.

“They know what it is. We’re coming to take over.”

The Westside Wizards aren’t showing up to play nice this summer. They’re not here for moral victories, feel-good moments, or close calls that make the heroes sleep better at night.

They’re here for revenge.
They’re here for the trophy.🏆
They’re here to make sure the city remembers exactly who they are.

And 10 years from now, Jeremy says this MVP will still mean something — because it’s tied to the place, the people, and the league that helped shape his story.

the next chapter has started! already headed into WEEK 3

The MVP is back.
The Wizards want the crown.
And the villain agenda is already in motion.

😈 WESTSIDE WIZARDS.

VILLAIN OF THE WEEK 🦹🏽‍♂️

Some players want to be loved.

Some players want respect.

@margotgame11 wants wins.

In the opening chapter of the MBA’s HEROES vs. VILLAINS season, the @westsidewizardz guard embraced the role that nobody else wanted and turned it into a statement performance.

⚡ 20 Points
💥 6 Rebounds
🏆 Week 1 Victory

From the opening tip to the final buzzer, Martez controlled the game with confidence, toughness, and thunderous dunks. Every time the Wizards needed a basket, he answered. Every time momentum started to shift, he made a play.

When asked where he stands in the battle between Heroes and Villains, his answer was simple:

“I think of myself as a villain.”

No apologies. No hesitation.

While heroes search for applause, villains are focused on results.

The Westside Wizards opened the season with a statement win, and Martez Jones made sure everyone knew who was pulling the strings behind the curtain. If Week 1 was any indication, opposing teams better be prepared for a long summer.

The Heroes vs. Villains universe has its first true villain.

And he’s wearing #1.

Finale vibes were DIFFERENT 🔥🏀

The bracket play championship at The League of East Point came down to the wire as Back Outside Boys faced off against Westside Wizards in a straight grind-out battle.

This one was a chess match all night. No lead bigger than 7. Every bucket answered. Every stop earned.

Then came the turning point — a quick 3-point barrage that cracked the tension wide open. 🎯And when it mattered most? Clutch free throws. Ice in their veins down the stretch.

That was the difference.

B.O.B held their composure, closed it out, and punched their ticket to the 2026 Spring League.

Pressure makes diamonds… Back Outside Boys shined. 💎

Bracket Play intensity at the League at East Point 🔥🏀

Play-In Tournament. Survive and advance.

The Westside Wizards came out FLAMETHROWING — a straight barrage from deep to try and put this one away early. 🌧️🎯 Three after three had the gym rocking and the momentum all theirs.

But the Orangemen didn’t panic.

They settled in… slowed it down… and started walking the Wizards down possession by possession. Methodical. Poised. Tough buckets.

With 2 minutes left? One possession game. Pressure at its peak.

That’s when the Wizards made just a few more plays — a stop here, a bucket there — and slammed the door shut to survive bracket play.

Early fireworks. Late drama. Tournament basketball at its finest.

Every bucket felt personal.
When the lights got brighter, he got sharper.

This season was scary — it was about production, poise, and pressure.
And Jermey answered all three.
