Made some httyd memes because why not

I know I’ve only drawn half the gang… should I make some more? If so what other dragons/memes would you like to see?

Part 2/2 - Free Skrill

Compared to the last song, this one is very high energy and more destructive. Now the Skrill has been freed from the ice, and it’s angry. This one’s just about not putting up with it anymore and getting mad about it (something like that). Sometimes life’s like a cycle where you’re down one moment and up the next, and much like Dagur’s Skrill, frozen/free

I used orange and warmer colours to match the energy (but mainly because it matches the album cover) which perfectly contrasts the blues

Same lyrics different song, same dragon different state

Part 1/2 - Frozen Skrill

For the past year this particular song has resonated with me more than before and I’ve had it on repeat every so often.

This song is a slower and more melancholic version of their song ‘Hyper Music’, and the contrast between the two songs is one of the reasons why I love this band so much. They can capture two distinct feelings with identical lyrics, which is what I wanted to do with my art here as well.

I’ve chosen to draw a Skrill (since I’ve never drawn them before) and for this song I’ve drawn it trapped in ice (something we’ve seen from DoB and RTTE) to match that deep sinking feeling. This one pairs and contrasts with the second part, and sorta represents the lower moments in life one might experience. Lot of cool colours in this one to represent that (but also because I associate this song with cooler colours due to the Hullabaloo Soundtrack Cover).

This one’s going to be two parts because I wanted to connect both songs, while also giving them a respective piece. by @westwindsofberk

Grapple Grounder appreciation post because I never see anyone talk about them.

I just remember seeing them on the Wii and DS game looking like more like this, but they got nerfed in RoB and SoD. It’s odd how they included these guys in the games as if they ever got any screen time

Anyway my quick sketch and render of one because they’re cool

Happy Canada Day!! 🇨🇦

I had the fun challenge of drawing the Snowbirds as dragons, thanks @nasurphotography for the reference photo of the Snowbirds!!

I chose to draw them as Night Terrors since they both travel in groups and form well organized flight formations. They were super fun to draw… maybe I’ll draw more planes as dragons?

(ft. some pictures I took in the Canadian Rockies + the Toronto skyline)

Grillmaster🔥

I absolutely love the live action monstrous nightmare, and in my opinion it’s the best redesign

Second slide is just me messing around with the colours and style because that’s my favourite part when I draw

Of course I’ve played the game on Roblox, and I named my monstrous nightmare Grillmaster because he’s the coolest ever and I love him

Posting this now because the more I look at it the more I want to change things. Kinda just went with the flow and added whatever came to mind

Could this have hidden meaning and be some sort of metaphor for a past version of one’s self watching the problems that their future self faces? Idk maybe lol I was just bored and forced myself to draw something

I had another song in mind for this one but ah well this will do

When the late night motivation hits 🙏

Had this idea come to me a week ago but I got lazy and didn’t feel like finishing it until now

Usually I have a song that I listen to on repeat when drawing, this was the song for tn (Muse yet again)

Posting this now so that I can finally go to sleep lol
