Meet Mando. He’s gotten very good at keeping people out of his life. Then Bia shows up.

We’re thrilled to have Jon Huertas starring as Mando in Further Notice.

Mando is a former trader who lost everything and now rents out his LA loft on Airbnb, quietly disappearing into the background whenever guests are around.

It’s a pretty good system until Bia arrives and refuses to go anywhere.

Jon brings the exact mix of humor, stubbornness, and vulnerability the character needs. You may know him from This Is Us or Castle. He has also directed episodes of @therookieabc and @trackercbs

We’re raising funds now to get the film into production.

Meet Derek. He gets pulled into a terrible plan and somehow ends up being the nicest person involved. ❤️

We’re very excited to have Joey Graceffa joining Further Notice as Derek.

Derek is Mando’s kind-hearted friend who gets recruited into an increasingly questionable plan to help Bia stay in the country.

What starts as doing a favor for a friend turns into something much bigger, and Derek ends up finding some courage of his own along the way.

Joey has built a career across acting, storytelling, and digital media, including creating and starring in Escape the Night. Further Notice will be his first dramatic feature role.

We can’t wait for you to see him in it.

Jon Huertas speak so passionately about the industry and the undeniable importance of indie filmmaking is the ultimate reminder of why we tell stories.

Independent film is where bold choices are made and messy, human stories—like the loft-sharing chaos of Further Notice—get to shine. We’re incredibly lucky to have Jon championing this project, not just on screen as Mando, but as a true advocate for grassroots cinema.

Come be a part of this journey. Drop FURTHER below and we’ll send you the link to support the film! 👇
