‘namer’ by myself and @liamstoast out now everywhere, links in my biology

i’m super stoked about this song’s release because it’s my first collaboration w one of my best friends Liam. Liam and i have been making music alongside one another for the last 6 years or so and seeing our growth has been tremendous. he really inspires me to blaze my own trail and to just try shit. huge thank you to him. photo of him and i circa december ‘21 by @i.nf.x

‘namer’ is the single from my forthcoming project titled ‘fjord’, which will release on the 31st of december, 2024. you can preorder it on bandcamp right now, if that’s your sort of thing.

hallo. in a little under a month @earcoffee is celebrating it’s 7th birthday at @thecedar. i’ll be performing with both @bugsyband and @kate.malanaphy that evening. it feels so special to have the two bands that feed me life play under the same roof. kate and bugsy are like my right and left limbs. so yea, if you wanna see me play a lot of drums, amongst other great acts, come to Ear Coffee VII on September 6th. ha det! by @wetsticker

“Now I Spend All Of My Time Alone” by @bugsyband out now

i’m very proud of us for seeing this mission thru. we took the road less expected to deliver this and getting here took so much more than just recording these songs. our last ep came out over three years ago and it feels like i’ve lived lifetimes w emily, shannon, and griffen since then. this has been long overdue but i couldn’t be happier with how it panned out in the end. it’s cool that one day in 2019 we played music together and we haven’t stopped.

if you wanted to see us perform these songs live, we are having our release show at 7th street entry on friday december 8th. it’s gonna be so fun. if you want to come, i recommend getting a ticket sooner rather than later. by @wetsticker

‘Rock’ by @kate.malanaphy out everywhere now!!

what to even say of this. first, i am so proud of Kate and all of their efforts. since we started jamming these songs 3 years ago, these songs have been some of my favorite songs ever. playing them is so fun, and the songs get to fundamental human truths that will continue to resonate w me for years. Kate is one of the best to do it, and these songs really filled me w life. i know i’m a broken record but i am eternally grateful to contribute to this album in any capacity, and moreover i’m grateful to have been able to incubate w these songs for the last few years. shout out to Kate for seeing it thru.

about a week before quarantine, i was posed w the idea of moving back to minneapolis (as i was in chicago at the time). i had half convinced myself to do it based on the circumstances of my life at the time. the other half of that decision came from Kate. after jamming w them a few days earlier, i asked them if i were to stay if i could play music w them, to which they said yes. without that decision, my life would likely look a lot different right now. to say the least, i’m really thankful things have turned out the way they have, and i am so happy to see that the time since then has culminated w the release of ‘Rock.’

shout out to all other parties that contributed to making this happen— it was beautiful to work together in support of such an amazing being. if you like the album, consider coming to Kate’s release show on 5/26 @ 7th street. i know it will be a raucous night. by @wetsticker
