A heartfelt thank you to everyone who has reached out to me and my family following the passing of my dad.
The messages, calls, kind words, visits and support we have received have meant more to us than I can ever put into words.
Losing my dad, my best friend, has been incredibly difficult, and there are no words that can truly describe the pain of saying goodbye to someone who meant so much to me.
Knowing that so many people cared about Dad, remembered him fondly and have taken the time to support us during this heartbreaking time has brought me great comfort.
Thank you to everyone who has shared a memory, sent their condolences, checked in on me, or simply kept us in your thoughts. Every single message has meant so much, even if I haven't been able to respond personally.
I would also love for you to continue sharing your memories, stories and special moments with me. Hearing about the times you shared with Dad means more than you could ever know, and those memories will help keep him close to us.
Thank you all from the bottom of my heart for your love, kindness and support.
Dad will never be forgotten. He will live on through the memories we have, the love he gave, and the lives he touched.

Dad, I don't know where to start.

So I'm going to start with thank you. Thank you for holding me up, thank you for loving me and everyone else the way did. You always put everyone first.

You never missed a game of my rugby, your were my biggest fan and I was yours. You were and always will be my best friend.

Thank you for putting our family first and for always fighting for it. You were the rock. I don't know how I'm going to go from calling you almost everyday for the last 10 years to not hearing your voice again.

Thank you for loving Alexander and Arthur as much as you do. I'm never going to stop telling them about you.
I'm so greatful you got to spend time with your grandkids.

No one will ever be able to comprehend how proud I am to be your son. I'm truly sorry you had to fight such a hard fight at the end. I wish I could have helped more and taken your pain away. It broke my heart seeing you the way you were. I'm glad your pain is gone and the suffering is over.
