WFSE's Executive Committee demands the release of four WFSE members who were detained by Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) over the last week.

This video was recorded before we learned of the fourth member.

We DEMAND the immediate release of these members and any one else detained under these illegal pretenses.

All four of our members are here with legal work visas or legal asylum claims.

All four work in much needed, difficult jobs taking care of the sick or disabled. They are active community members and family members, and our communities are BETTER with all of them in it.

Four more WFSE tentative agreements ratified by the membership today!

WFSE members at @wfse1495 and @wfselocal3488 who keep Harborview, UW Medical Center hospitals, and UW campuses running.

@wfselocal931 members at Eastern Washington University.

@wfse1381 at Western Washington University.

And @awaag5297, the folks who keep the AGOs office running and help protect everything from consumers to our environment.

The WFSE UW Bargaining Team left nothing on the table during a marathon 18-hour negotiations session that ended at 2am.

They stood together and stood their ground, because the medical staff, custodians, trades workers, and more who keep UW running deserve RESPECT and recognition for their work.
